About Grady
Expert Analysis
Devin Record | Prep Redzone Scout
Grady had a phenomenal game against Riverside HS. He’s a top 10 wide receiver in his class for a reason and he showed why during the game. He compiled 10 catches for 165 yards and 1 touchdown on the night. His route running was on point, being able to create just enough space to grab the catch. He locates the ball in the air well, adjusting on the fly to get the catch. Walker is great when it’s a jump ball, being able to rise over the defender often.

Walker is an impressive three sport athlete (football, basketball, track) with length at 6’3” 190 lbs. Throughout the offseason he’s performed well at college camps/showcases and continues to add weight without sacrificing his speed and agility. He’s a very smart and instinctual player on both sides of the ball but at receiver it allows him to find/create space and use his large frame to box out defenders and attack the ball at the high point. He’s a strong hand catcher of the football that’s confident and proves he can catch in traffic. Had a breakout sophomore season after transferring in from Montana and would expect him be a big part of the West Valley offense again while continuing on the same trajectory. Strong lineage of college football players in his family.
