Brown's 7 TDs runs went for 74, 53, 32, 28, 18, 9 and 1 yards. On the season the big time senior running back has rushed for 1,070 yards and scored 19 touchdowns. He has picked up this year and continued with his outstanding play with a monster game of 331 yards and 6 touchdowns on 24 carries averaging 12.1 yards per run in a week 7 victory. The Southeast Missouri Redhawk verbal commit keeps racking up big numbers with his outstanding play. This week Ruble did the same toting the rock 44 times for 269 yards and 5 touchdowns, while also completing 4 of 9 passes for 105 more yards and touchdown in a win 50-48 overtime win over Pattonville. He leads the St. Louis Metro area in scoring with 29 TDs, and is second in rushing with 1,458 yards averaging 9.2 yard per carry. He's added 609 yards passing and 9 TDs vs 1 pick in seven games. Ruble is a big time athlete who will excel on the college level and could play at an FBS school in my opinion.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:separator --> <hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity" /> <!-- /wp:separator --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Owen Merrill 2023 QB Wentzville Holt</strong><br></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:image {"id":473965,"sizeSlug":"full","linkDestination":"none"} --> <figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><img src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/redzone/uploads/2022/10/Owen-Merrill.jpg" alt="" class="wp-image-473965" /></figure> <!-- /wp:image --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Another big playmaker QB/ATH this week was the speedy Merrell. He led his team for a 58 -13 win primarily with his arm by throwing for 346 yards on 25 of 33 passing and hitting 5 of those completions for touchdowns. For good measure he added another score on the ground and ran for 34 more yards. Merrell has had an outstanding senior season so far with a 67% completion rate throwing for 846 yards and 12 touchdowns vs zero interceptions through seven games leading his team to a 6-1 record.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:separator --> <hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity" /> <!-- /wp:separator --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='299504' first='Carson' last='Boyd'] 2025 QB Cardinal Ritter</strong><br></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:image {"id":473980,"sizeSlug":"full","linkDestination":"none"} --> <figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><img src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/redzone/uploads/2022/10/Carson-Boyd.jpg" alt="" class="wp-image-473980" /></figure> <!-- /wp:image --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This sophomore transfer from East St. Louis has really come into his own over the last few weeks. Boyd is a very skilled QB prospect who I have watched since he was a 7th grader. He has found a great fit with the Lions, and had a breakout game completing 10 of 13 pass attempts for 199 yards and 5 touchdowns in helping put 50 points on the scoreboard and helping lead his team to victory. This 6'2" 190lb signal caller threw for 253 yards and 5 touchdowns in his team's win over Soldan, while also rushing for a score.
