Mr. D’Alise is a young man that has high potential and will see himself crack into the rankings after the season is completed. What stands out the most about this young man is when he’s working as an outside linebacker on being able to transition quickly. This is seen where he pops his hips to get to his zone coverage drop as well as planting his foot to close quickly on both the QB escaping the pocket and on the ball carrier. In one instance, he was able to undercut the route in his hook/curl zone drop for an INT as he got to his drop quickly and read the QB’s eyes the whole way. What’s equally as impressive is his foot quicks he showcases as a halfback which he uses to get through the line of scrimmage quickly and can gain a step on 2nd level defenders at times as well. This all happens as he gets true N/S once the rock is in his hands. All in all, this is a high potential and versatile young man that continues to improve. Twitter
Mr. Mitchell is a young man that got on my radar last season and he’s picking up where he left off. Turn on the first clip in the highlights below and you’ll see why he has such high potential as such a young age. His ability to continue to fight through the whistle by keeping his feet driving and using his elusiveness to make defenders miss in open space are one’s to keep a close eye on. What stands out the most is his foot quicks that he has paired with his vision. Here, he can either hit the hole hard breaking through and gain a step on 2nd level defenders to pick up the first down or he can find the cutback lane where he can then turn the corner to break a long run. Not to mention he has the ability to be used in the screen game as he can get vertical once he secures the screen and read his blocks in open space to pick up chunk yards on the play. All in all, this is an up and coming halfback to watch closely. Twitter
Mr. Head has been on my radar for some time now and he’s been a force this season in the ground game. Go take a look at his highlights below and you’ll see exactly why he’s been so dominant. Whether he runs inside or outside the tackle, his foot quicks are deadly and if you give this young man a sliver of room he’s off to the races. His ability to gain a step on 2nd level defenders is impressive as once he does he’s getting into the endzone for six. What stands out the most is actually his ability to break weak grab tackles and his body control to stay up when doing so to break long runs for either a big gain or getting into the endzone for six. There’s countless plays in his highlights where it seems like he’s 100% going to get brought down but by keeping his feet driving and breaking weak tackles he’s able to shrug them off to break a long run. Overall, this is one of many talented young men on St. Francis and is one you’re going to have to gameplan against as we get into playoff action. Twitter
Mr. Stewart came onto my radar last season and I got the chance to see him LIVE in action during last season’s State Championship game. Fast forwarding to this season and he’s taken over as the lead back for St. Rita and there’s no surprise why. This young man has a good frame standing at 6’0 225 that does a good job maintaining his low center of gravity when breaking weak grab tackles to play through contact. Once he does so he can turn on the foot quicks to break a long run and flashes his lateral quickness to turn the corner after he bounces plays outside. This is a downhill style runner that has good vision and can play through contact. Keep an eye on this young man as we head into the playoffs. Twitter

Mr. Hackman was on the watch list coming into this fall season but with his performance so far this season he’s going to crack into the rankings. This young man’s ability to get through the hole quickly and get true N/S is one to watch. When he does so, he can use his foot quicks to gain a step on 2nd level defenders to break long runs in the process. He does also flash his ability to be a shifty/elusive runner making defenders miss once he get through the hole and is a trait I’m going to be keeping a close eye on. He can also get it done on the defensive side of the ball as an outside linebacker using skill set to shine there as well. Twitter
