Midseason Houston High School Team Linebackers

There are a ton of promising athletes here in Houston I decided to build an offense and defense team built up of these promising athletes. I will be discussing my defensive linebacker picks for my defensive team. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong><em><span style="text-decoration: underline;">OLB: Cy-Ranch High School [player_tooltip player_id='136153' first='Christian' last='Brathwaite'] Sr 6'1 225 lbs</span></em></strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='136153' first='Christian' last='Brathwaite'] is ranked #53 in Texas and top 10 in Houston for a reason. Christian is extremely tough and a great Blitzer consistently being in the backfield putting on pressure throughout the whole game. Christian is also able to patiently read plays and determines where the ball goes and instantly attack the ball holder. Christian is a top college prospect catching the attention of numerous amount of colleges and universities, but the college he committed to was Baylor University.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em>OLB: Manvel High School [player_tooltip player_id='269992' first='Kaleb' last='Blanton'] Jr 6'2 210 lbs </em></span></strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='136153' first='Christian' last='Brathwaite'] and [player_tooltip player_id='269992' first='Kaleb' last='Blanton'] are fitted to be my outside linebackers because they're the best linebackers fitted for blitzing and attacking holes running backs or quarterbacks run through. Kaleb is a hard hitter and an efficient tackler with great tackling form. Kaleb is always rushing into the backfield rushing the quarterback or stopping the running back in their trail. Kaleb's current stats this season for 9 games are 76 total tackles.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong><em><span style="text-decoration: underline;">LB/S: Shadow Creek High School [player_tooltip player_id='149649' first='Maurice' last='Williams'] II Jr 6'1 190 lbs </span></em></strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Maurice William II is one of the best linebackers in not only Houston but in Texas. Maurice is great at attacking he has impeccable tackling form and is great at coverage during pass plays. Maurice has deflected numerous passes throughout the season or once a wide receiver caught the pass didn't allow them to go any further. Maurice is a top college prospect catching the attention of numerous amount of colleges and universities, but the college he committed to was Louisiana State University. Maurice's current stats this season for 8 games are 30 total tackles.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong><em><span style="text-decoration: underline;">LB/S: North Shore High School Jarvon Cole Jr 5'9 185 lbs</span></em></strong> </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Jarvon Cole is a very technical linebacker. Jarvon was patiently biding his time to tell where the play was going and deflect any passes that came his way. Jarvon also wasn't afraid to be aggressive and physical and made sure he was a threat to anyone that he had his sights on. Being an essential player on the best team in Texas demonstrates his fortitude and skillset. By the end of the season I gratuity Jarvon will be a top college prospect with tons of offers by his senior year.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
