[player_tooltip player_id='491424' first='Keiland' last='Baker']-QB Holtville

[player_tooltip player_id='491424' first='Keiland' last='Baker'] is a 2025 QB prospect whos been making plays for Holtville this year, especially this last week. Baker is a dual-threat QB with a cannon, and he put both his mobility and arm talent on full display against Elmore County, where Baker accounted for 5 total touchdowns (2 through the air, and 3 on the ground). Baker did a great job extending plays outside of the pocket/on the run and used his arm to make some really impressive throws downfield, Holtville's offense was continuously moving the chains and scoring thanks to his play.

[player_tooltip player_id='491418' first='Jordan' last='Norman']-DL Hoover

Last week, Hoover (9-1) was able to get a massive victory by beating Thompson for the second year in a row. Hoover's defense got the job done, pitching a shutout in a 9-0 victory, with standout performances at each position. At DL/OLB, [player_tooltip player_id='491418' first='Jordan' last='Norman'] had one of those huge performances and was a huge reason why Thompson's offense struggled to get the job done, no matter where he lined up he made plays. Overall, Norman recorded 9 total tackles (1 TFL), and a sack, interception, and pass breakup as well- dominating every phase of Thompson's offense. After such a dominant performance against one of the toughest programs in the state, Norman received some collegiate attention- just yesterday Troy sent an offer his way!

[player_tooltip player_id='132040' first='Ronnie' last='Royal']-ATH Gulf Shores

[player_tooltip player_id='132040' first='Ronnie' last='Royal'] is a standout prospect in the 2025 class, not just in state, but nationally. Royal is an extremely talented athlete that's played at both RB and DB and Gulf Shores, and no matter where he lines up, he's going to make an impact. Royal had a fantastic performance against Vigor in a 37-21 Gulf Shores victory where he totaled up 11 carries for 135 yards, 3 receptions for 44 yards, and an interception- the definition of a game wrecker. Royal has been highly recruited already as a sophomore, and rightfully so, with the talent he's shown on both sides of the ball, it's evident he's going to keep being a big playmaker for the rest of his high school career and onward.
