Is the Starke Bradford County football team human?

That's the question that everyone is asking, heading into this Friday night's showdown at 7-1 Palatka for the district championship.

All the Tornadoes have done this year is pitch seven shutouts, giving up just one touchdown and that came in the fifth game of the season in a win against Quincy Munroe.

Putting this season into perspective: head coach James Rodgers and his football team have outscored the opposition 235-7, which included the current streak of 27 quarters without giving up a point!

That's right, you heard that all correct. This is a program, playing in Class 2S, that has been virtually unbeatable.

While Palatka poses a threat on the road, the Tornadoes and Panthers have had two common opponents. St. Augustine Tacoi Creek, which Palatka beat, 26-21, and the Tornadoes shutout, 27-0. Keystone Heights is the other common opponent. The Panthers won, 48-30, while Bradford County shutout them out, 38-0.
