West Orange Will Be In The Mix – Once Again

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Every year when the state football playoffs get started across Florida, there are several teams who get their share of the spotlight as a program to watch.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>As each round progresses many of those programs continue to make an impact and prove the “experts” right.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>As those schools continue to showcase their talent and pick up momentum, there are programs who are overlooked for what they do to teach and prepare their student/athletes for the next level.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>One of the teams that never gets the respect that they deserve are the Winter Garden West Orange Warriors, who seem to be in the mix every season – while send prospects to the next level.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Under the direction of head coach <strong>Geno Thompson</strong>, this team continues to play winning football and attract college coaches to campus – year-round.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Coming off a 10-2 season, losing for the second straight year to powerhouse Venice, this team sets the table every year for a group of quality players who are well coached and ready to compete at the next level.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>In just the past two seasons, the Warriors have posted a 20-5 record, and as 2026 is unfolding, they will once again be a team to keep an eye on – with elite prospects up and down the roster.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
