Sophomore Ty Olsen Ty Olsen 6'2" | 190 lbs | WR Del Norte | 2025 State CA leads all San Diego wideouts in receptions, receiving yards, and TDs. Led by breakout freshman QB Kreet Makihele, San Marcos’ trio of Nix, Cummings, and Ball is proving to be the top WR group in San Diego.
Highlights
Olsen scored 8 TDs as a freshman and continues to raise his stock with 10 total TDs through five games. He produces explosive plays downfield and after the catch. He excels at creating separation in soft coverage with stems and sudden breaks at the top of his routes. He has natural hands and shows body control adjusting to balls in the air. He’s a crafty playmaker that can operate in the slot or outside. San Diego’s current leading receiver is becoming one of the top 2025 WRs in the area.
Nix led San Marcos in receiving as a freshman and has totaled over 500 rec. yards and 8 TDs through five games. He’s a playmaker out of the slot that can work the seam and find soft spots over the middle. He’s a quick-twitch athlete with short-area bust and compact quickness. He’s a technical route-runner that can change speeds and create separation on quick hitters underneath. Nix is a high upside prospect with D-I athleticism and skillset.
Aleonte Logan
Aleonte Logan
Logan’s a two–way starter at WR/DB and the leading receiver for Morse. He’s a natural athlete and smooth runner that can challenge secondaries downfield. He’s elusive in space and can shed tackles after the catch. He finishes the catch with soft hands and shows ball skills on both sides of the ball. Logan’s generated FCS interest and should see more opportunities to raise his stock with five games left.
Isaiah Sutton
Isaiah Sutton
Sutton’s been productive as a senior totaling 38 catches for over 550 yards and 5 TDs through four games. He’s a reliable target for Kearny with his long frame and strong hands. He’s a rangy athlete showing ability to elevate and come down with 50-50 balls. He uses his body well downfield boxing out defenders and competing for the ball at the highest point. Sutton picked up an offer from Benedictine College in August.
Nolan Cummings
Nolan Cummings
Cummings is one of three stock-rising WRs on San Diego’s most productive passing team this season. Like Nix, Cummings is a dynamic route-runner that can vary speeds and beat press coverage at the LOS. He can work every part of the field, showing plus-side instincts and spatial awareness. He operates well in tight spaces and can make defenders miss after the catch. Cummings is one of the top unoffered senior receivers in San Diego.
