Highlights
Robinson had a record-setting performance vs. Mater Dei Catholic rushing 32 times for 476 yards and 8 TDs over the weekend. The UCLA commit now has over 1,000 yards and 15 TDs through the first four games of the season. He’s a superior athlete that runs with high-level speed, balance, and power. He’s extremely difficult to tackle in space at 6’1”/220 with low center-of-gravity and a strong lower half. PRZ’s #1 RB in the state is one of the most exciting prospects on the west coast and well on his way to a 2,000-yard season.
Angelino Trapasso
Angelino Trapasso
Trapasso was San Diego’s leading rusher until Robinson’s historic performance last weekend. He totaled 250+ yards and 3+ TDs in each of RBV’s first three games of the season, looking faster and stronger than he did as a junior. He’s a balanced runner that shows great vision at the LOS and strong leg drive through contact. Trapasso’s an underrated producer in San Diego with upside in his athleticism and overall playmaking ability.

Fallbrook’s junior RB has been the team’s leading playmaker during their 3-1 start to the season. He’s totaled over 650 rushing yards and 4 TDs averaging around 7 YPC. He’s a solid runner between the tackles that shows explosive burst at the LOS. He’s shown ability to make guys miss in tight spaces with lateral agility and physicality through contact. Bausch has been an early-season stock riser at RB.
Givens has shouldered a heavy workload for Steele Canyon taking 67 carries for 639 yards and 6 TDs through four games. He’s an explosive playmaker with breakaway top-end speed and elusiveness in space. The Montana St. commit excels at picking up yards after contact with his combination of compact quickness and physicality. Givens should continue to be a steady presence for Steele Canyon through a tough stretch of games that includes Lincoln, Cathedral Catholic, San Clemente, and Helix.
Rath led a dominant performance for Poway in the team’s 35-7 win over Torrey Pines this past weekend. He’s an athletic, all-purpose back that can provide physicality between tackles and make plays in space on the edge. He’s a taller back at 6’3”/215 with plus-side speed and vision out of the backfield. Rath has offers from Stetson, Quincy, and Utah Tech.
