5 of the Top Returning Players in Whatcom County

Here is just 5 guys returning this year who are going to make a big impact. He's incredibly athletic, and it shows on the field right away. Just looking at his 6'5u0022 240 pound frame, you know he's going to be hard to stop. During his time at Lynden Christian, he has mostly played RB, DE, and some TE but can line up ANYWHERE. He has great vision with the ball, hits holes very hard, and is impossible to tackle. He breaks tackles left and right, every game. He easily breaks tackles by running through the defender or using his elusiveness to juke by. His patience with the ball is the one thing that stands out to me the most. He's always making sure he hits the correct, open hole. Defensively he's a fantastic LB, reading the opposing QB easily. Jake has quick feet, fast hands, and has the strength to take on anyone in Whatcom County. On the defensive side, Mason stands out rushing the passer as a DE. According to Whatcom Preps, Jake has 20 sacks in only 15 career games played in. He's extremely quick off the line and has some very impressive moves on the line. His blocking techniques are advanced for the HS level and is one of the smartest players I've seen on the field. He uses his high IQ to dominate on the defensive line too, as he already knows what the OL wants to do.
