This is the last Golden Eagle in this article, I promise. I had to mention all three as I believe they will have big impacts. Landen is the best player in the NWC and i say that with confidence. The senior will be following in his brothers footsteps and attend the University of Washington next fall. In the meantime, he will be holding down the center position in this impressive Ferndale offensive line. He’s insanely athletic for being 6’3″ 290 pounds, he has amazing feet, balance, and his strength is just insane. His blocking techniques are advanced for the HS level and is one of the smartest players I’ve seen on the field. He uses his high IQ to dominate on the defensive line too, as he already knows what the OL wants to do. He is easily one of the top OL to EVER come out of the NWC and Whatcom County.

Earning First Team All-Lague on both offense and defense as a junior, Hatchett carries with him a meanstreak that will make him a force at the center position for the Washington Huskies as soon as he steps foot on campus. That starts with his aggressive initial punch, where he is able to stun defenders right away before driving them into the ground with his relentless leg drive. He is also a good athlete for a center, as Ferndale’s offense tasked him with pulling more often than not and he was a great mover in space, something that will serve him well against the faster defenders at the next level.
