Remash is a player that I will especially be watching closely when it comes to quarterbacks in the class of 2023. For starters, it’s hard to find quarterbacks with such elite size at 6-foot-5 and 230-pounds. A prototypical pocket passer, Remash has a strong arm which includes a rather effortless and quick release He doesn’t have tremendous speed but he is still quite athletic and has the ability to escape the pocket and extend plays when needed. He shows solid accuracy, some passes can stray a little away from his intended target but still are usually within their vicinity. Overall, his size makes him a super intriguing quarterback on top of his good arm strength. There’s a lot to work with when it comes to Remash. We’ll be watching him closely and believe he could take the next step this season. We believe Remash could work his way into a few FCS offers this season.
Highlights
A super solid and sound cornerback, Arrington may not be the flashiest player but he is fundamentally sonud and has a great profile athlecetism wise. He’s got solid size at 5-foot-10 and 180-pounds, fluid hips that allow him to change direction and is quick out of his breaks. He plays tight man coverage and is usually able to go stride for stride with opposing wide receivers, when he does get beat, he does a great job of recovering and still attempting to make a play on the ball. Ball skills are good as well, showing the ability to track the ball while staying with his man. Doesn’t bring down a ton of interceptions but certainly makes it difficult to complete passes. Projects to an FCS starting corner at the next level but with a strong season could potentially find himself with a Group of Five offer.
Highlights
While he’s a bit undersized for a linebacker at 6-foot-0, Raup is one of those players that just knows how to make plays. He can rush the passer, he can chase down ball carriers, drop into coverage, whatever you need him to do, he can do it at a quality level. He’s fundamentally sound and shows great football IQ. While undersized, he has really good athleticism, good straight-line speed, and is agile as well, able to change directions without losing much momentum. Also a standout baseball player for Danville, Raup has a chance to play both sports at the next level. In terms of football, we think he could be a really good Division II linebacker. What he doesn’t bring physically or athletically, he just brings in being a strong fundamental linebacker.
At 6-foot-6, 280-pounds, this future left tackle has great size and once he adds another 25 to 35 pounds to his frame, he’s got a chance to be a very good offensive tackle at the next level. He’s quick off the line and is an anchor on the left side for Lower Merion. He shows rather quick feet as well. Also, he’s always looking for someone to block, he shows that tenacity you love to see in your offensive linemen especially out of your tackles. He consistently finishes his blocks and eliminates threats to the quarterback or ball carrier. He’s receiving FCS interest with a few offers already and I expect much more to come, he’s oozing with potential, and once he’s able to get in the weight room and iron out some of the weaker parts of his game, he has a chance to be a special talent.
McKeesport wide receiver Ahmir Culmer Ahmir Culmer 6’4″ | 190 lbs | WR McKeesport | 2023 PA is our final player. For starters, Culmer provides a nice tall target on the outside, he often creates matchup issues. There’s not a ton of tape out there but from what we can tell, he seems like a quality athlete with decent speed. He shows good ball tracking skills with the ability to high point the football and is able to go up and over opposing defensive backs to make catches. Has a chance to be a steal wherever he winds up at the next level, you can’t teach size which he certainly has, if he can continue to develop on the fundamental and technical side of the position, he has a chance to be a really nice weapon in the right offense.
