The group as a whole has some serious sleepers, including a number of prospects without a single scholarship offer to their name. However, If you watch the film, their potential is clearly evident. I truly believe some of these guys are going to take their game to the next level in 2022 and will reap the recruiting attention in doing so. With that being said, here’s who you need to watch for this fall!
Nate Meyer, 6’3″ 265, Oakwood
- Can play all five spots on the offensive line.
- Double teams are air-tight.
- Feet are a bit raw, but the quickness is there.
- Gives up little to no ground against bull rushers.
Riley Defibaugh Riley Defibaugh 6'2" | 295 lbs | OL Akron St. Vincent St. Mary | 2023 State OH , 6’2″ 295, St. Vincent-St. Mary
- Plays with a mean streak.
- Showed quite explosive striking ability.
- Pad level stays low as he punches up on a rise to create maximum force.
- Overwhelms inside shades on down blocks.
- Has the body control to block shiftier 2nd level defenders.
Dom Ference, 6’3″ 285, St. Ignatius
- An extremely effective outside zone blocker who makes the back’s read clear.
- Has no problems redirecting against counter moves as a pass protector.
- Adjusts his steps and angles to ensure he can make tough blocks.
- When he gets the wheels moving, he turns into a nasty run blocker.
Robert Snyder, 6’2″ 285, Hilliard Bradley
- Hand placement is tight and effective.
- A swing guy who can jump around the offensive line if in a pickle.
- Quick out of his stance to aid against speed rushers.
- Has a Doctor Jekyll and Mr. Hyde type switch that flips on and leads to him turning ferocious on the field.
Cameron Coleman, 6’3″ 305, Eastmoor Academy
- Size overwhelms high school opponents.
- Plays through the whistle and looks to finish off blocks.
- Plays with his eyes up, easily spotting potential blitzers or possible stunts.
- Has a pretty powerful punch that looks fairly effortless.
- Shows no issues blocking back on a three-technique on gap scheme runs.
Trent Evans, 6’4″ 250, Jackson
- Has a frame he can easily add size to at the next level.
- Bends at the knees and ankles well.
- Constantly wins the hand placement battle and can dominate at the point of attack.
- Gets his second step in the ground fast.
- Is smooth and under control as a skip puller on counter runs.
