Here is a look at some of the teams competing.
Los Alamitos
Los Alamitos features USC commits [player_tooltip player_id="25419" first="Malachi" last="Nelson"] and [player_tooltip player_id="25398" first="Makai" last="Lemon"]. The receiving duo of Lemon and Louisville commit [player_tooltip player_id="190270" first="DeAndre" last="Moore"] is one of the best in the state. The Griffins also have some defensive back transfers Jeremiah Ingram (Pacifica) and Marcus Parks (La Habra). [player_tooltip player_id="145170" first="Ethan" last="O'Connor"] and [player_tooltip player_id="145234" first="Gavin" last="Porch"] are great athletes and St. John Bosco transfer [player_tooltip player_id="145202" first="Nehemiah" last="Sagiao"] is an athletic linebacker.
Mater Dei
The Monarchs are once again one of the top teams in the nation. [player_tooltip player_id="147708" first="Elijah" last="Brown"] is one of the top class of 2024 quarterbacks in the nation. Tight end [player_tooltip player_id="145241" first="Spencer" last="Shannon"], a recent Texas commit, has been a big target on the 7on7 circuit this offseason. Mater Dei features some athletic running backs that can make plays in the passing game like [player_tooltip player_id="115462" first="Ajon" last="Bryant"] and [player_tooltip player_id="282698" first="Jordon" last="Davison"]. I am excited to see how the young secondary featuring [player_tooltip player_id="282734" first="Chuck" last="McDonald III"], [player_tooltip player_id="115479" first="Thaddeus" last="Woods"], [player_tooltip player_id="195537" first="Jeilani" last="Davis"], [player_tooltip player_id="1112620" first="Marco" last="Coleman"] and [player_tooltip player_id="282700" first="Daryus" last="Dixson"] fares along with experienced junior [player_tooltip player_id="147715" first="Zabien" last="Brown"].

Santa Margarita was excellent on the passing league circuit last season with quarterback [player_tooltip player_id="25428" first="Jaxon" last="Potter"] and big receiver [player_tooltip player_id="190355" first="Niko" last="Lopez"]. I like a pair of their other receivers Ty Benefield and [player_tooltip player_id="195538" first="Bain" last="Eiseman"]. Santa Margarita has a great secondary full of returners like [player_tooltip player_id="167964" first="Ben" last="Durham"], Israel Solomon, [player_tooltip player_id="270899" first="Donovan" last="Comestro"] and other skill players Noah Sulick and Blake Wilson.

Inglewood
The Inglewood players have been making a splash this offseason for the Premium passing league teams. Tight end [player_tooltip player_id="261865" first="Jamari" last="Johnson"] is one of the most physically impressive players I saw this offseason and is committed to Louisville. [player_tooltip player_id="115468" first="Terrell" last="Bradshaw"] has been one of the fastest rising receivers this offseason and has offers from Louisville and Missouri among others. [player_tooltip player_id="145165" first="Khalil" last="Peart"] is a talented defensive back who transferred to Inglewood from Sierra Canyon.
Mater Dei Catholic
Mater Dei Catholic won a state championship last season and has a ton of talent returning at the skill positions. [player_tooltip player_id="145133" first="Jeremiah" last="McClure"], [player_tooltip player_id="25445" first="Chris" last="Snyder"], [player_tooltip player_id="145192" first="Surahz" last="Buncom"] and Nico Mosley are talented pass catchers. [player_tooltip player_id="145214" first="Dominic" last="Nankil"] returns at quarterback and has an offer from New Mexico State.
Sierra Canyon
[player_tooltip player_id="25426" first="Josiah" last="Phillips"] is a talented two-sport athlete who plays receiver for Sierra Canyon. [player_tooltip player_id="147709" first="Terrell" last="Cooks"] is a quality running back who can make plays in the passing game and running game. Quarterback [player_tooltip player_id="273557" first="Damon" last="Wrighster"] had a good showing at the Under Armour Next All-American camp and will compete with Culver City transfer [player_tooltip player_id="282704" first="Alonzo" last="Esparza"]. Sierra Canyon also added an excellent defensive back [player_tooltip player_id="147748" first="Ruben" last="Gamboa"] from Chaminade.
