Travel 7v7 starts during the quiet and dead period of the NCAA's Football Bowl Subdivision and ends during the Evaluation Period. With the growth and expansion of travel 7v7 in Louisiana, we have witnessed an increase in the development of young talent in the state. DR Sportz- Dedication & Respect (DR7) became the top 7v7 Circuit during the spring of 2022 in just its first year of existence. Three of the Top 10 (14U) programs in the country came from the state of Louisiana. Those programs include the New Orleans Dolphins, Camp Moula Naturals, and 4th Quarter Mentality. New Orleans Dolphins have been a youth tackle football program for 6 years that was started by New Orleans natives Arsenio Bolds Sr., Dwayne Dales, Tyrone Brooks, and Sean Terragano. These mentors operate with a mission of teaching life skills while playing the game of football. Also teaching athletes that come through their program of being respectful young men and being the best scholar in the classroom. The N.O. Dolphins came into the 7v7 scene during the spring of 2021 and in just year 2 they took the nation by storm with total domination of their opponents. The New Orleans Dolphins were clearly the #1 (14U) squad in the country during this circuit. The Dolphins compiled a record of 55-8 and won 5 Championships this spring. During DR7's Battle of the H in Houston, the Dolphins set a record of 258 points scored with their quick strike offense. The Dolphins feature some of the best up and coming student-athletes. A few prospects in the Class of 2025 to keep an eye out for are DB Aresnio Bolds Jr. (Edna Karr), DB Fred Lewis Jr. (St. Augustine), DB Montez Randall (De La Salle), WR Nehemiah Philips (St. Augustine), WR Nuhan Lilan (John F. Kennedy), ATH Amyne Darensbourg (John F. Kennedy), CB Cody Morris (Edna Karr), and QB Mark Garrison (Warren Easton). Looking forward to seeing some of these young guys on the camp circuit especially one of the nation's best young WR prospects Tahmaj Jackson of St. Augustine High School in New Orleans and QB Carl Reed Jr.

Camp Moula Naturals 7v7 Program in year 2 under the tutelage of world renowned sports performance trainer Ernest Harvey of Thibodaux, LA, have spring boarded into a national brand after winning multiple tournament trophies on several circuits. The Naturals tournament records in 2022 are 46-6-1 (15U) with 3 Championship trophies and 40-10-1 (14U) with another 3 Championship trophies. Coach Harvey has trained not only some of the top talent in Louisiana but in the entire country. 2022 Alabama 5-Star signee and Under Armour All America WR [player_tooltip player_id="128240" first="Shazz" last="Preston"] by way of St. James High School, 5-Star Freshmen LSU DT Maason Smith are a few of his trainees along with NFL Las Vegas Raiders CB Amik Robertson by the way of Louisiana Tech and Thibodaux High School. Current high school studs that are in Coach Moula's program include, 2023 ATH Khi Prean (St. James), 2025 1st Team All-State RB [player_tooltip player_id="145332" first="Jaylon" last="Coleman"] (Vanderbilt Catholic), 2024 QB [player_tooltip player_id="285659" first="Ashton" last="Levi"] (Bogalousa), 2025 WR [player_tooltip player_id="145334" first="Quincey" last="McKay"] Jr. (Terrebonne), 2024 WR [player_tooltip player_id="314043" first="Paxton" last="Lafont"] (E.D. White), & 2024 Mandeville HS teammates DB [player_tooltip player_id="145328" first="Tasmin" last="Showers"] and RB/WR . Coach Harvey does an amazing job at mentoring and developing young talent. Athletes come to him year in and year out unranked, lacking exposure and the knowledge and skills he pours into those young men are second to none. He has a factory of other up and coming Louisiana talent that we will see in years to come.

4th Quarter Mentality is a program based out of Southwest Louisiana that has 5 age groups. This program was established in 2019 and features some of the top talent the state of Louisiana and the country has to offer. 2025 QB [player_tooltip player_id="291167" first="Colton" last="Morris"] (Loranger) Colton is coming off a huge spring. Colton is physically impressive for a young rising sophomore prospect who less than a month ago turned 15 years old. A few weeks ago he lead his 18U teammates to a championship trophy in the Gorilla Warfare Rumble In The Jungle 7v7 Tournament hosted at Southern University. On Saturday May 7, 2022, Morris participated in a star studded FBU Montgomery Camp and came away with All Camp Team honors and an invite to the prestigious FBU Top Gun Camp July 8-10 in Naples, FL. Colton was blessed with a rocket launcher on his shoulder. Colton is an amazing character student-athlete that with continued development and hard work will have an opportunity to play major Division I football. Offers should be coming soon. 2025 RB/Slot [player_tooltip player_id="145333" first="Diesel" last="Solari"] (Cecilia) Speedy, shifty slot back that is a matchup nightmare. You can put this kid in any environment and he will be one of the best. 2025 RB [player_tooltip player_id="291097" first="Harlem" last="Berry"] (St. Martin's Episcopal) This kid is a 40-50 offer prospect as a rising Sophomore with measurables of 6 feet and 180 pounds. He is the Louisiana 1A State Champion in the 100m (10.76) & 200m (22.12) Dash. Harlem ran 4.3 at college camps twice last summer. Coming off a stellar freshmen campaign with 2,000+ rushing yards and 30 touchdowns, look for the blue blood programs to start putting out offers to this prospect. The 7v7 Circuit this spring confirmed his elite speed, competitiveness, and ball skills. 2025 WR/S [player_tooltip player_id="144898" first="Tre" last="Fuller"] (Captain Shreve) Trey Fuller looks the part as a 6'2, 182 pound Freshmen. He dominated the 7v7 Circuit this spring making acrobatic catches over defenders and lining up on the hash at safety and picking passes off. This kid is tough as nails. Coming off a stellar FBU Montgomery Camp that came with a Top Gun invite in July, that momentum rolled over into spring ball with physically imposing plays at Safety for Captain Shreve. Trey picked up his first scholarship offer today from the historic HBCU program Grambling State University. The offer was extended by Coach John Simon Jr. who is one of the top recruiters in the country and has done an amazing job at each of his collegiate stops at identifying talent early in the state of Louisiana. 2025 CB [player_tooltip player_id="145357" first="Lennis" last="Finister"] Jr. (Archbishop Rummel) Elite Power 5 Prospects with amazing cover skills. Doesn't panic when out of phase and is a willing tackler. Has pulled in offers from UTSA and Arkansas State. 2024 WR [player_tooltip player_id="145326" first="Landon" last="Strother"] (STM) Hands Catcher and Adequate route runner. We are looking forward to seeing this kid in the fall. Comes from an amazing pedigree including his father St. Thomas Moore's WRs Coach Lance Strother who is regarded as one of the best receiver coaches in the country regardless of the playing level. 2024 RB/Slot WR Trey Tate (St. Louis Catholic) Solid size at 6'1 and 185 pounds. Trey has strong hands and catches the ball in traffic well. The rising junior prospect is primed for a breakout season. He recently clocked a hand timed 4.46 40yd Dash. Look for this prospect to go to camp and turn some heads. 2024 John F. Kennedy Teammates WR Joey Davis Jr. & DB [player_tooltip player_id="285193" first="Bernard" last="Causey"] Davis is coming into his own this spring with big play capability and recently picked up his first offer from Alabama State. Causey is a tenacious defender that excels in man to man coverage. This kid doesn't back down from anything and seen his recruitment take off this spring with 8 offers. Coach Lynarise Elpheage Sr. has done an amazing job with developing his program and student-athletes. 2024 ATH [player_tooltip player_id="285197" first="Jay'Shaun" last="Johnson"] (Franklin Senior HS) Rising Junior Prospect with elite ball skills and leaping ability. This student-athlete excels in basketball and track as well. Since getting off the hardwood and lining up for 4th Quarter Mentality 7v7 and dominating the circuit, Johnson has received scholarship offers from Mississippi State and Incarnate Word. Other notable prospects from 4th Quarter Mentality to keep an eye out for are 2025 WR Kamorie Boyd (Lafayette), 2025 Nickel Back Christopher Helaire (Lafayette Christian), 2025 Acrobat WR Bryant Leon (Westgate), 2025 DB/WR Brennan Walker (LCA), 2025 DB [player_tooltip player_id="281657" first="Lance" last="Jackson"] II (Bogalousa), 2025 WR Gavin Duplechin (St. Thomas Moore), 2025 DB D'Ron McZeal (Dutchtown) who is an absolute ball magnet, 2025 RB/Slot WR Calvin Parker III (Lafayette Christian) who tore it up in the slot this spring, and 2025 S Andre Sonnier (Jeanerette) F3 Elite based out of Baton Rouge, LA have been around for 3 seasons. We want to give a shoutout to Coach Ken Anio and LSU Legend Rohan Davey for the job they have done growing F3 Elite into a national brand. F3 Elite bolstered the Top (15U) Program in the state in my opinion and has one of the top (18U) programs in the country with Team Juice. Team Juice has several Top 150 Prospects on its roster. Some other programs on the rise to keep an eye for is Nola Hotboys, U ELITE, Academy Elite, Bottom Boys Elite, Randall Passing Academy, GrindTime, Kream Elite, Camp Hardy, 318 Hotboys, Jeremiah Gray's (G-Sportz) Louisiana Elite. G-Sportz is one of the top media outlets and sources for Louisiana High School football, basketball, and 7v7 tournaments. Jeremiah Gray for year's has taken hidden gems to camps and assisted in student-athletes getting offers and exposure around the state of Louisiana.
