We’ve just finalized and published the 2024 rankings, and we’ve seen a few significant trends. This article will discuss one of those trends; the deepest position groups. Now, what I define as a "deep" position group is what positions are excellent top to bottom? Which Groups overall have the most talent and most players? Here I’ll be discussing the depth of the QBs, ATHs, LBs, and DBs.
<em>Projections based on CURRENT performance & some expected potential </em>
<span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong>QBs</strong></span>
This QB class is VERY strong. Up and down the board, every ranked QB is immensely talented and is expected to start on Varsity this season. Overall, every player listed in the tiers below has a great shot to at play at the Division 3 level, though I know everybody below has Division 2 potential at the very least.
Projected D1 Recruits: 4-7
Best of the Best: [player_tooltip player_id="77217" first="CJ" last="Carr"], [player_tooltip player_id="77216" first="Isaiah" last="Marshall"], [player_tooltip player_id="253200" first="Kalieb" last="Osborne"]
Edge of Greatness: [player_tooltip player_id="188030" first="Connor" last="Wolf"], [player_tooltip player_id="249012" first="Reqez" last="Nance"]

<strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;">ATHs</span></strong>
When I think of this Athlete class, I think of the word Diverse. Up and down we have so many players who can do wildly different things at many positions. It was incredibly difficult to rank this position group as up and down, there is so much talent and so much potential.
Projected D1 Recruits: 5-8
Best of the Best: [player_tooltip player_id="99436" first="Gabriel" last="Winowich"], [player_tooltip player_id="187994" first="Rayshaun" last="Hester"], [player_tooltip player_id="188015" first="Caleb" last="Williams"], [player_tooltip player_id="188009" first="Shamar" last="Heard"]

Sleeping Giants: All have proven themselves in some way.
<strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;">LBs</span></strong>
The most ranked out of any position group, the Linebacker Class is deep and talented. Many of this LB class attended the Prep Redzone Prospect Tour and everyone who attended performed well. Seriously, I talked to the LB coaches there and explicitly asked if anybody underperformed, and nobody did!
Projected D1 Recruits: 3-8
Best of the Best: [player_tooltip player_id="187999" first="Jeremiah" last="Beasley"], [player_tooltip player_id="187998" first="Daivon" last="Hill"]

Sleeping Giants: [player_tooltip player_id="235728" first="Mitchell" last="Sparpana"]
<strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;">DBs</span></strong>
Up and down a deep class, the defensive backs may have the most underrated talent in 2024. We have a few well-known names at the top, with a couple on the edge, and many knocking on the door with a few sleeping giants (and here I do mean potential D1 recruits). Here’s the list!
