Nance comes into this game with a ton of playoff and big game experience. He has a deadly deep ball, and can get it done on the ground as well. Just in the regular season he threw for 23 TDs and over 2300 yards, and carried the ball for 6 more TDs and over 500 yards. He’s going to lead an explosive offense looking to outscore a Southfield A&T squad that can score with anyone in the state. Nance is going to need to use all the tools in his bag to grit out a big win this round, and possibly the state finals.

There’s a lot of opinions out on Nance, and it’s difficult to put them all together. He’s a dynamic Kyler Murray type passer, and he has a ton of weapons around him. I know he’s worked very hard throughout last offseason, and he put West Bloomfield in a great spot heading into the playoffs. He had a poor playoff game against Cass Tech, but name me a QB who has played Cass Tech and hasn’t thrown an interception.

There are many strengths and weaknesses to his game. He’s a flawed player, but I still like his ceiling. I don’t think D1’s will come calling anytime soon, but he’s a potential college QB. I don’t think I’ll have Nance rise or fall too far in the rankings, but wether he’ll rise or fall, time will tell.

Whatever full West Bloomfield games are available to be, I’ll watch.

Nance has shown noticeable and significant improvement from last season.

Against Harper Woods, Nance posted 240 yards passing, 40 yards rushing, and 3 total touchdowns. Some may say Nance is elevated by the elite talent around him, but I think it’s the opposite. He elevates his teammates.

Look out for this week against Rochester Adams, because Nance is going to be motivated.

The West Bloomfield Kylar Murray had a great offseason and has shown improvement from last season. Playing alongside a plethora of D1 college talent, Nance does extremely well with his elite weapons. He’s dual-threat, quick, can read a defense well, and throws accurately.

I expect an amazing season and I beleive colleges are already looking his way.
