TN Future Stars Knoxville Tryout: Linemen Standouts
The Tennessee Future Stars completed their tryout in Knoxville, TN on Saturday. On a hot sunny day at 85 degrees, lots of talent came out in hopes to earn a spot on the roster to beat out the Kentucky Future Stars. Below you will find the standouts in the offensive and defensive lineman positions.
Ethan Hill Ethan Hill 5'11" | 205 lbs | LB TN | 2026
Hill exuded not only physical but mental toughness on the field. At every drill he was attentive and able to make corrections to be better. His work ethic stood out in his desire to keep pushing through and exerting full out effort at every drill. His positioning off the line of scrimmage was strong. He had no problem beating out his would-be blocker to get to the quarterback. Can also see him excelling in the guard position with his quickness and drive to keep fighting.
Jeriod Fowler | 2026
Fowler had great athleticism and composure on the field. He was not shy to put his body on the line to get off the snap quickly and rush the quarterback. I saw a lot of determination out of Fowler to get better while taking direction from coaches well. Mentally I saw a lot of potential out in him and if he puts to work his physical game to gain muscle and strength he has potential.
Caleb Lewis | 2027
This seventh-grade powerhouse was not messing around this weekend. Lewis showed drive and passion for the game through every movement. He was able to stay low and shuffle side to side not allowing Defensive Lineman to beat him inside or outside. His three-point stance was strong allowing him to use his legs to power through each play. He has the ability to be a cornerstone of the line on either side of the ball.
Ethan Lawson | 2027
The technique that Lawson exhibited was strong showcasing his skills in blocking and rushing. For a prospect that is already 6-foot-5 and 305 pounds, it was impressive to see him be able to get low and drive forward. He demonstrated glimpses of how hard he can grind through his tenacity and persistence once the ball was snapped. As he continues to develop his movements off the line he will only get better and become a stronger football player. It’s hard to argue an 80-inch wingspan.
