Cherry Creek’s Maxwell Parrott Maxwell Parrott 6'5" | 285 lbs | OL Cherry Creek | 2024 State CO (2024) won the MVP award for the offensive linemen group, but there were many more talented big boys at the event. This article will list nine offensive linemen who stood out while taking a closer look at six of the top performers.

Ethan Thomason Ethan Thomason 6'8" | 325 lbs | OL Rocky Mountain | 2023 State CO | Rocky Mountain | 2023
40-yard dash – 5.53s | Shuttle – 4.88s | L-Drill – 8.28s | Broad Jump – 8’1”
Thomason is the second-ranked 2023 OL who has a towering 6-foot-8, 325lbs frame, making him an instant standout as soon as he walks into any room. He showed his quick feet, powerfully violent strikes, and explosive movements at the event.
One thing that really stood out about him was his leadership characteristics. He could be heard giving tips and advice to younger players to help them with their techniques during the drills. After seeing Thomason in person, it is obvious why he currently holds well over 15 Division I offers.
Ben Lastrella Ben Lastrella 6'2" | 280 lbs | OL Cherry Creek | 2023 State CO | Cherry Creek | 2023
40-yard dash – 5.09s | Shuttle – 4.75s | L-Drill – 8.72s | Broad Jump – 8’7”
Lastrella had the best overall combine scores for the OL group. He recorded the fastest 40-yard dash time, the longest broad jump, and the second-fastest shuttle time. He continued to impress throughout the day, showing explosiveness in his hands and feet, which helped him get into his sets quickly and land well-placed strikes. Lastrella is a three-time state champion whose popularity has been growing rapidly.
Tristan Randall Tristan Randall 6'3" | 265 lbs | OL Pine Creek | 2024 State CO | Pine Creek | 2024
40-yard dash – 5.5s | Shuttle – 5.07s | L-Drill – 8.41s | Broad Jump – 7’2”
Randall is another player with great size, strength, and explosive movements off the ball. He does a great job at keeping his feet moving and timing his strikes to keep his opponents from getting around him. Randall showcased his phenomenal talents, solidifying his rightful place under the spotlight as a must-know offensive tackle.

Lincoln Fa’apouli | Fountain-Fort Carson | 2024
40-yard dash – 5.47s | Shuttle – 5.05s | L-Drill – 8.8s | Broad Jump – 7’3”
Fa’apouli was another instant eye-catcher because of his 6-foot-5, 305lbs frame. He showed impressive athleticism and use of leverage during the drills and one-on-one portion of the event. He gets into his sets quickly and has a wide base that helps him generate a lot of power. Fa’apouli popped up on the radar shortly before the showcase, and he left a lasting impression because of his overall performance at the event.
Connor Laxson | Pine Creek | 2024
40-yard dash – 5.43s | Shuttle – 4.97s | L-Drill – 8.34s | Broad Jump – 7’7”
Laxson arrived at the showcase as a low flyer on the radar, but he quickly showed why he is an underrated lineman. He has quick feet and fast hands that go perfectly with his low base and immense power in his legs and strikes. His skills help him bring great speed and strength to the line’s interior. Laxson is a solid player with impressive athleticism and a lot of upside as a prospect.

Ryder Smith Ryder Smith 6'0" | 255 lbs | OL Castle View | 2024 State CO | Castle View | 2024
40-yard dash – 5.28s | Shuttle – 4.71s | L-Drill – 8.28s | Broad Jump – 8′
Smith’s first appearance at a showcase turned out to be an impressive introduction. He did a great job showing his explosiveness during the combine and the position-specific drills. He was quick off the ball with well-placed strikes and took coaching extremely well. Smith is a radar pop-up with a very bright future.
