While doing a bit of work on the 2025 rankings, I noticed 4 extremely unique prospects from Cass Tech. As we all know, Cass Tech is one of the most storied powerhouses in the country, as they have many alumni on NFL rosters. In this article, I’ll be going over four incredible young talents from Cass Tech who all recently visited the University of Michigan.

First up we have [player_tooltip player_id="329422" first="Jalen" last="Howell"]. The word that comes to mind for him is twitchy as he’s flashed great change of direction and good acceleration. In addition, he shows the ability to high point the ball and be a true playmaker on both ends of the ball. Most of his highlights are about a year old, but his name keeps popping up on Twitter and he seems to have been putting in great work. With the talent around him + coaching at Cass Tech, I can’t wait to see how Howell develops.
[player_tooltip player_id="329421" first="Derrick" last="Jackson III"]
A great player with great grades, [player_tooltip player_id="329421" first="Derrick" last="Jackson III"] is next up in this 4-pack. His freshman film is impressive, as is his 7-on-7 tape. Most of his highlights are at DB, and there he shows that he’s way ahead of the curve in nearly all aspects. On his 7-on-7 film, Jackson III demonstrates playmaking ability consistently punishing bad throws with INTs, and nicely deflecting better throws. As for his game film, Jackson III shows great effort and technique. His man-to-man ability looks great, as he has nice hips and footwork while keeping his eyes in the backfield for as long as possible. This also boosts his run defending ability, as he’s consistently in a great spot to make a tackle. I’m very excited to see what Jackson III is able to do this season, and offers will surely come his way.
[player_tooltip player_id="329420" first="Alex" last="Graham"]
Having already received an offer from Michigan, [player_tooltip player_id="329420" first="Alex" last="Graham"] could be a superstar in the making. I mean, the dude is already an elite playmaker getting attention from colleges and publications all around. The cousin of [player_tooltip player_id="30316" first="Dante" last="Moore"], [player_tooltip player_id="329420" first="Alex" last="Graham"] knows how to work and knows what it takes to compete at an extremely high level.

[player_tooltip player_id="284285" first="Cashus" last="Shivers"]
Having already received amazing offers from Pitt and Kentucky, [player_tooltip player_id="284285" first="Cashus" last="Shivers"] is an absolutely Elite 2025 prospect. There’s good reason for his offers, as he’s blazing fast with amazing instincts and fundamental prowess. As a DB he’s balanced, quick, and instinctual.
