All of these athletes had great freshman seasons, and all have the potential to be big-time names in a few seasons. So, here are 3 Freshmen I’m excited to evaluate this weekend!
QB Jordan Simes – Chandler Park Academy
Simes is a very intriguing QB who seems to have been putting in great work. He’s a muscular 5’10 207lbs, and he’s already making college visits. Simes has a rocket for an arm and good throwing motion, with above-average footwork for his age. I think Simes can turn some heads on Saturday, and overall I see a ton of potential for this QB prospect!
WR Connor ORourke Connor ORourke 5'11" | 175 lbs | WR Mattawan | 2025 State MI – Mattawan
ORourke is set to compete at our Showcase this weekend, coming right off a shoulder injury. I don’t know too much about him, but it seems ORourke is an extremely competitive, motivated athlete quickly gaining attention. He had an incredible freshman season with a whopping 9-min highlight reel, and he’s performed extraordinarily well during offseason competition. His tape shows route-running prowess and great hands. All in all, all signs point toward this athlete turning heads.
Mattawan 2025 WR/S Connor ORourke was one of the best freshmen that we saw during the Legacy 7on7 League.

OL Camden Pawlick – Saline
Pawlick played his Freshman ball in South Dakota, and he’s now a Saline Hornet. His Hudl has some solid highlights on both sides of the ball, but it’s on the offensive side where he’s really shined. Pawlick has displayed great power with many pancakes during his freshman season, often taking advantage of poor DL technique. For Pawlick, he’s 10 pounds heavier than listed on his Freshman highlights, so I hope that means he’s had a productive offseason. From what I can see, there is room for Pawlick to improve fundamentally, but I am sure he’ll improve a ton at Saline. I am incredibly interested to see what he can do on Saturday!
