In-depth analysis of the underclassmen prospects picking up recent collegiate offers. [player_tooltip player_id="155580" first="David" last="Wells"], 2023, WR, Lakes – Offer from Nevada, Idaho, Northern Arizona, Colorado State Wells kicked off his recruiting prior to the start of his junior season with offers from Portland State and Florida Atlantic and has seen a recent boost in his recruiting stock piling up four offers in the last two weeks from Nevada, Idaho, Northern Arizona, and Colorado State. At 6’2” 170 lbs. he’s got a strong physical skillset with a combination of length, speed, and natural pass catching ability. Flashes a great burst and drive phase off the LOS to eat up cushion quickly. He uses his long speed to be a vertical threat or take short passes for long gains after the catch. Possesses strong confident hands to extend and pluck the ball out of the air using his body control and coordination. Finished his junior season with 40 receptions for 920 yards and nine touchdowns. https://twitter.com/_davidwells_/status/1499871808031391746?s=20&t=4ssbKirqItTImL7eoay30w [player_tooltip player_id="155593" first="Leo" last="Pulalasi"], 2023, ATH, Lakes – Offer from Colorado State The versatile athlete out of Lakes pulled in an offer from Colorado State in mid-February bringing his total to three with Nevada and Portland State already on his list. Possesses a wide skillset that can impact the game on both sides of the ball at RB, WR, or LB but did most of his damage at RB racking up over 1,500 total yards and 18 touchdowns. As a ball carrier, he’s got a good combination of speed and power to be an effective runner between the tackles and also to the outside. He’s elusive in the open field using quick lateral cuts and his start/stop speed to make defenders miss. Shows good contact balance at the POA to break tackles and maintain his forward momentum. Expect to see more FBS offers to come in as his recruitment continues to build. https://twitter.com/LeoPulalasi/status/1494756285434060801?s=20&t=z7Sx80FxS2Z7zNSR6TNP5A Kade Eldridge, 2023, ATH, Lynden Christian – Offer from Colorado State, Utah, Boise State, Columbia, Nevada Eldridge is currently one of the fastest rising recruits in the state after pulling in six D1 offers in the last month including five in the last two weeks from Colorado State, Utah, Columbia, Boise State, and Nevada. At 6’5” 240 lbs. he’s considered a jumbo athlete that can take over a game no matter where he lines up. He flashes rare athleticism and movement skills for his size with plus speed, lateral agility, and short area burst. He was initially offered by Washington State as a TE but given his versatility and talent it will be interesting to see how he develops and how he’s used at the college level. In the meantime, watch his recruitment continue to skyrocket and the major D1 offers roll in. https://twitter.com/eldridge_kade/status/1499768448892616708?s=20&t=VQRzmTmVBvWNpA_d4nsz1w [player_tooltip player_id="87403" first="Jasiah" last="Wagoner"], 2023, DB, Spanaway Lake – Offer from Texas The lockdown corner received another elite level offer from Texas recently bringing his total to 14. His list also includes Miami, Oregon, Penn State, Washington, and Tennessee just to name a few. He possesses savvy athleticism with great instincts and route anticipation. His transitional quickness and burst out of his backpedal allows him to close space and make a play on the ball. He shows plus ball skills to effectively track and adjust to ball flight while timing out his break to make a clean play at the catch point. Flashes efficient and fundamental footwork with very little wasted movement/steps. He’s an elite level prospect that will continue to add to his list of offers as the recruiting cycle progresses. https://twitter.com/JasiahWagoner/status/1496544617940271105?s=20&t=zOVaGdfc3C0snSadsNdPGA [player_tooltip player_id="87402" first="Jayden" last="Wayne"], 2023, DL, Lincoln – Offer from Utah State Utah State is the most recent offer for the number one prospect in the state that now holds 42 total offers. He’s an exceptional athlete at 6’5” 245 lbs. with a rare combination of speed, quickness, and explosiveness. He’s extremely fast off the ball and makes excellent use of his long reach/hands when disengaging and shedding blocks. Still holds a lot of untapped raw potential but has a great foundational skillset to build on to be an elite college player and eventually NFL prospect. Recently released his top 11 that includes include Oregon, USC, LSU, Alabama, Washington, Georgia, Auburn, Miami, Florida, Texas, and Michigan State but will probably see some more offers come his way before he makes his commitment. https://twitter.com/JaydenWayne8/status/1496312458465755141?s=20&t=mgPvn5Oh5zlLRf4m_DilkQ Tucker Ashcraft, 2023, TE, O’Dea – First offer from Idaho Ashcraft recently picked up his first D1 offer from Idaho. At 6’5” 235 lbs. he possesses ideal size, length, and frame for a D1 TE with a well-rounded skillset that is effective both as a run blocker and pass catcher. For his size he shows good natural movement skills, body control, and coordination. He’s strong at the contact point with good balance and leverage as a blocker to overpower opponents and sustain his blocks through the whistle. In the passing game, he flashes good hands with the ability to haul in tough contested receptions in traffic. He checks a lot of boxes as a high level D1 TE with his great upside and raw potential as he builds off this first offer. https://twitter.com/ashcraft_tucker/status/1497007896860659714?s=20&t=ZEP1hZQkptTUu7wg4sYJ5w [player_tooltip player_id="87413" first="Heath" last="Ozaeta"], 2023, OL, Mount Si – Offer from UNLV, BYU Ozaeta is another guy who’s recruiting stock has skyrocketed since the off season began. He now holds 14 total offers with UNLV and BYU coming through at the end of February. He checks a lot of boxes as a major D1 OT with his 6’6” 270 lb. frame and plus athleticism. He shows impressive natural movement skills and flexibility for his size allowing him to execute different blocks at the LOS and in space. He’s a finisher at the POA with good leverage, strength, and power but is calculated and under control in his approach, rarely see him off balance or outside his framework. He’s well coached and has great upside/potential as he develops. https://twitter.com/HeathOzaeta/status/1496992951490260992?s=20&t=hHWcgoP5b-Z8dJxz1051sg [player_tooltip player_id="160820" first="Gabe" last="Hoffmann"], 2023, TE, Eastside Catholic – First offer from Idaho Hoffman is another TE that picked up his first D1 offer from Idaho recently. He’s one of the top TE’s in the state with a lot of depth and talent at the position. At 6’6” 250 lbs. he can effectively line up as a split end, inline TE, or H back. Has always had great length but has continued to add good weight and strength to his frame allowing him to be stronger at the POA as a blocker. As a receiver, he’s got soft hands and a huge catch radius to extend out and reel in tough receptions outside his framework. His size and length make him a tough matchup for any LB or DB covering him one on one, especially at the short and intermediate levels. He’s still scratching the surface of his potential and should see his recruiting on the rise entering his senior year. https://twitter.com/gabehoffmann/status/1496995498133057548?s=20&t=aqcdRiZG9dFVlv1R53JpDw [player_tooltip player_id="158334" first="Marquawn" last="McCraney"], 2024, DB, Highline – First offer from Washington, Cal McCraney’s recruitment kicked off in a big way collecting back to back PAC12 offers from Washington and Cal. The dynamic and versatile 2024 athlete is an impact player on both sides of the ball at WR and DB, even mixing in at QB. He’s an explosive play waiting to happen with the fluidity, burst, and top end speed major D1 programs look for. He’s an instinctual player with high level game awareness and ball skills. He flashes excellent change of direction and start/stop speed to create separation as a route runner or match movement as a DB in coverage. Just the beginning for him and will see his recruiting take off from here. https://twitter.com/Marquawn7/status/1497349970222989312?s=20&t=FWUdK0WhlAMlsqDcFRUW7Q [player_tooltip player_id="87433" first="Kyle" last="Cox"], 2023, OL, Eatonville – First offer from Montana State The 6’6” 270 lb. OT out of Eatonville picked up his first offer from Montana State at the end of February. At his size, he’s a plus athlete with good natural movement skills and athleticism. Flashes good feet with the ability to work to the second level and be an effective perimeter/space blocker. Plays with good leverage, balance, and quick active hands to latch on and control his opponent at the LOS. He’s able to overpower defenders with his natural strength and accelerated leg drive through contact. Love his toughness and ability to finish his blocks. More offers will come as he’s able to showcase his skillset. https://twitter.com/coxkyle77/status/1498363648833515521?s=20&t=60piDpL3L4fATzlxk02PWw [player_tooltip player_id="87405" first="Caleb" last="Presley"], 2023, DB, Rainier Beach – Offer from Stanford With a recent offer from Stanford, Presley becomes one of the rare prospects to collect an offer from every school in the PAC12. He now holds 28 offers from almost every top programs in the country including Alabama, Oklahoma, Oregon, LSU, and Notre Dame. He’s an elite level lockdown corner with a great combination of length, speed, and athleticism. Exceptional fluidity, twitch, and top end speed to cover the whole field and match up with the top WR’s in the nation. Outstanding ability to transition and explode out of his breaks to close space and make a play on the ball. He’s in the conversation for top cover corner in the western region. https://twitter.com/CalebPresley5/status/1498151814503354370?s=20&t=8K3ibLQNZsyyUwXY7uDK1A [player_tooltip player_id="155550" first="TJ" last="Crandall"], 2023, DB, Skyline – Offer from Army Crandall added his second D1 offer from Army after Arizona State was his initial offer just over a year ago. He possesses a well rounded skillset with strong physical traits as a college level DB with his length, speed, and reactionary quickness in coverage. He sees the field well and plays with great eye discipline to put himself in position to be a difference maker. He’s smooth and controlled with his movement but triggers quickly and has the short area burst to come out of his transition and attack the ball in the air. Can play both press and off coverage and be a strong open field tackler. His top end speed also makes him explosive in the return game. Strong dual sport athlete. https://twitter.com/tj_crandall/status/1498408350781829120?s=20&t=ndf58mivt90HdL5ht8EeqA [player_tooltip player_id="155560" first="Xe’Ree" last="Alexander"], 2023, LB, Kennedy Catholic – Offer from Idaho Alexander collected his third D1 offer from Idaho in late February to add to his list of Arizona and Arizona State. The 6’3” 205 lb. OLB out of Kennedy Catholic has great length and positional versatility to be effective in coverage and as a force guy in run support. He has good range and lateral mobility to play sideline to sideline while also flashing good closing speed on the ball. He uses his hands well to disengage from blocks and free himself up to make tackles at or behind the LOS. Strong foundational skillset to build on with great upside and potential at the major D1 college level. Good genes with brother, Junior Alexander, being an elite level four star recruit and recruitment is trending up. https://twitter.com/xe_ree/status/1498469346250674176?s=20&t=hIfxV-dfnShIsLgdeB-mCQ [player_tooltip player_id="115338" first="Hogan" last="Hansen"], 2024, TE, Bellevue – Offer from Tennessee Hansen picked up his first SEC offer from Tennessee bringing his total to four and caping off a solid month of recruiting. In addition to his Tennessee offer, he also was offered by Washington and Oregon State. The 6’6” 220 lb. TE already possesses a lot of physical traits colleges look for with his size, length, and growth potential but its his ability to be effective as a receiver and blocker that sets him apart. He’s a natural pass catcher with great hands and body control to track and adjust to the ball while coming down with tough contested catches in traffic. In the run game, he’s a physical force that plays with good leverage and balance at the POA to drive opponents off the ball. He’ll be a double digit offer prospect shortly and one of the state’s top 2024 recruits. https://twitter.com/hansen_hogan/status/1498734832955772930?s=20&t=APVe2_srgnfesVBk6RMNnQ [player_tooltip player_id="155551" first="Kyle" last="Chen"], 2023, DB, Mountain View – Offer from Minnesota Chen now holds three Power 5 offers after picking up Minnesota last week. His first offer came from Penn State as a sophomore and then added Colorado during his junior season. He’s a two way athlete at Mountain View but projects as a DB at the college level. His versatile skillset allows him to be an effective cover guy at every position in the secondary. He flies around with great range and game speed to be a sideline to sideline playmaker. Also flashes a strong burst to close and plus ball skills. High football IQ with good footwork and technique as a DB. Receiving a lot of high level interest from other schools so expect his offer count to keep rising. https://twitter.com/ChenKyle13/status/1498717549931810817?s=20&t=ez5CozIRT6fO6zARgeyu1A [player_tooltip player_id="87470" first="Nathan" last="Pritchard"], 2023, OL, Auburn Riverside – Offer from Utah State, Washington State Solid week of recruiting for the big OT out of Auburn Riverside with new offers coming in from Utah State and Washington State, while also being re-offered by Nevada’s new staff. He’s a high level three sport prospect (football/wrestling/baseball) at 6’5” 285 lbs. Plus athlete with good feet, mobility, and bend for his size that shows in his ability to pull and work to the second level with ease. Strong and powerful at the contact point showing he can dominate the LOS on both sides of the ball at the high school level. He’s a finisher with active and heavy hands to strike and deliver a strong initial punch at the POA. An excellent athlete with good bend and mobility for the position, he has great feet and short area burst to be an effective blocker in space. Elite level hand usage and quickness at the POA, he transitions smoothly from the snap and quickly gets them into position to engage. Strong genes with his brother, Geirean, also being a top recruit and is currently playing at Washington. https://twitter.com/LandenHatchett/status/1499505375371882513?s=20&t=QUayFu8wj4x8R-RTST6Pjw [player_tooltip player_id="155642" first="Michael" last="Montgomery"], 2023, LB, Garfield – Offer from Oregon, Idaho Montgomery doubled his offer count in one day adding Oregon and Idaho to his list that also includes Washington and Nevada. He’s strong and well-built at 6’3” 230 lbs. with the ability to be a three down LB at the college level. He’s a smooth athlete that shows good spatial awareness and burst to close on the ball. Very technically sound, he plays well with his eyes and is patient as he’s making his reads and diagnosing run/pass. He’s quick to trigger and does a good job scrapping laterally over the top to avoid blocks and locate the ball carrier. During his junior year he racked up 88 tackles and 17.5 TFL’s. He’s on a hot streak with three offers in the last couple weeks and with his combination of size, speed, and athleticism his recruiting stock will continue to rise entering his senior year offseason. https://twitter.com/mikemon08327348/status/1500015628769316867?s=20&t=MV78dmQotEzrfz1AzbeBbw [player_tooltip player_id="202531" first="Conner" last="Noah"], 2023, ATH, Kelso – First offer from Nevada Noah was previously mentioned as one of the top 2023 prospects in the state without an offer but that changed with his first offer coming in from Nevada just days ago. At 5’11” 190 lbs. he possesses a wide skillset with versatile athleticism to play multiple positions at the college level depending on development. The majority of his junior year was playing RB where he’s a downhill runner with plus speed and lateral quickness in the open field. He’s instinctual with the ball in his hands using his vision and patience to find/create open running lanes. He’s got good start/stop speed and quick cut ability to be elusive and weave around defenders. Also a natural pass catcher out of the backfield. He’s seeing a lot of recruiting attention and Nevada should be his first of many. https://twitter.com/connernoah4/status/1501033614968233986?s=20&t=tcWQSmazobbw-japdHmNKA [player_tooltip player_id="155600" first="Trey" last="Leckner"], 2023, ATH, Snohomish – Offer from Army Leckner brings his offer count to six after recently adding Army to the list. In just over a month, he’s seen a big boost in his recruitment with this offer in addition to three more coming in from Washington State, Utah State, and Colorado State. He’s a two-way standout with a strong combination of size, speed, and athleticism. At 6’3” 215 lbs. he already has great natural power at the contact point with the frame to add weight as he develops. He runs well with good long speed and a sustained second gear. Love his always attacking and violent style of play. Ran for over 1,500 yards and 23 total touchdowns as a junior. https://twitter.com/TreyLeckner/status/1500606512686792705?s=20&t=KVaTuXlT0QUns8cnGCx0vA [player_tooltip player_id="87441" first="Ishaan" last="Daniels"], 2023, DB, Bellevue – Offer from Army, Yale The All-State DB out of Bellevue pulled in two new offers from Army and Yale to add to his initial Arizona offer. At 5’11” 160 lbs. he’s a dynamic and fluid athlete with track level speed to impact the game in all three phases. Projecting as a DB at the college level, he’s smooth in transition and flashes great burst/acceleration out of his backpedal. He uses his quick hips and change of direction to match movement and run stride for stride with receivers at all three levels. Strong route anticipation and ball skills to be in position and break up plays at the catch point. His top end speed and natural ability will bring in more offers as the recruiting cycle continues. https://twitter.com/ishaandaniels3/status/1501729924272431106?s=20&t=nJvmTV2M8U83w41DdbyVuA [player_tooltip player_id="155548" first="Gabe" last="Tahir"], 2023, DB, Kamiakin – Offer from Nevada Despite pulling in his second offer from Nevada, Tahir is still one of the most underrecruited players in the state given his talent and ability in coverage. At 6’2” 180 lbs. he possesses ideal length for a major D1 DB with the speed and quickness to match up with top end wide receivers. He’s a lockdown corner that can play on the outside or in the slot with great footwork and technique. He closes quickly and has the speed and leg drive out of his back pedal to recover even if he’s beat. Love the physicality and aggressiveness he brings to the position, he understands how to use effective contact and his hands to his advantage in coverage and isn’t afraid to come up to make a tackle in run support. Not sure what college coaches are waiting on but he deserves to be a double digit offer prospect. https://twitter.com/GabeTahir/status/1500995303758991362?s=20&t=XBQ9q4rC8IabZ-K3y5hNew Elijah Brady, 2023, DB, West Seattle – Offer from Nevada Brady was long overdue for his first offer but the wait is over after Nevada kicked off his recruiting just yesterday. At 6’0” 170 lbs. he’s a gifted athlete with length that can be a game changer in all three phases. Has always shown superior athleticism and speed but has made great year over year improvement in his technique and fundamentals. His suddenness and lateral quickness make him elusive and explosive with the ball in his hands while also allowing him to match movement and quickly transition as a DB. Projects as a DB at the college level where he can use his short area speed/acceleration and quick trigger but is a natural playmaker wherever he lines up. Just the beginning for Brady and his recruiting but would be very surprised if more schools don’t follow suit. https://twitter.com/_elijahbrady/status/1501381425601208321?s=20&t=QTwAudyJq4HGoectXa3zGg
