Miles Ealy (2023) | 5’11 180 QB/ATH | Livonia Clarenceville
Ealy is the definition of an athlete on the football field. He spent a lot of his time on offense at quarterback for Livonia Clarenceville but, he also saw time lining up in the backfield as a running back in Bob Meyer’s Walled Lake Wing-T Offense. Ealy has decent size and good speed and shows a unique ability to get yards after contact. In his junior season, Ealy rushed for 13 touchdowns splitting time between quarterback and running back. While at quarterback, Ealy also passed for 8 touchdowns. What Miles Ealy can do on the offensive side of the ball is unlimited. He finished his junior season with over 1200 all-purpose yards. Ealy is a star in a Clarenceville offense that relies heavily on designed QB runs and play-action passes. Look for him to put up video game numbers in 2022.
Cordell Mabins Jr. (2023) | 5’10 195 ATH/RB | Livonia Franklin
Cordell is the featured back in a Livonia Franklin offense that loves to run the football. The 2x All-West All-Conference player had a monster season in 2021. In his junior campaign, he compiled 1,146 yards rushing, 335 yards receiving, and 12 touchdowns. He also earned himself 1st Team All-Conference and All-Area Metro Detroit honors. Mabins Jr is big enough and fast enough to play at the next level. Expect Livonia Franklin to make another deep playoff run in 2022.
Jackson Zeiter (2023) | 5’9 160 ATH | Bishop Foley
Jackson Zeiter is a 2x 1st-Team All-State selection for both football and track. His next-level speed is certainly on display throughout his junior highlight tape. Zeiter scored touchdowns on offense, defense, and special teams. On offense, Zeiter finished the season with 1,013 rushing yards, 43 receptions for 663 yards, and 26 touchdowns. On special teams, Zeiter scored two kickoff returns for touchdowns. He’s the most dangerous return man in Division 8. What sets Zeiter apart from his competition is his speed. You could make an argument that Jackson Zeiter is the best skill player in Division 8.
Ish Abdul-Aziz (2023) | 5’9 170 CB/ATH | Ann Arbor Skyline
Abdul-Aziz will most likely play defensive back at the next level but the role he plays for Ann Arbor Skyline is much more. The lockdown defensive back has next-level speed and ball skills. On defense, he shows an ability to cover ground in zone coverages and lockdown single receivers in man coverage. His athletic ability is on display on the offensive side of the ball where he has lined up at WR and wildcat QB. Ish scored touchdowns lined up at both QB and WR in 2021 where his game-breaking speed was on display highlighted by two jet sweep touchdown runs from 52 and 58 yards out.
De’Veion Mclilley (2023) | 6’0 200 LB/ATH | Ann Arbor Huron
Mclilley is primarily a linebacker for Ann Arbor Huron, but he also lines up at RB and WR. What he does on the defensive side of the ball is eye-popping. At 6’0 200 pounds, Mclilley can run sideline to sideline with anyone. He finished his junior season on defense with 50 tackles, 23 tackles for loss, 8 sacks, and 2 forced fumbles. On the offensive side of the ball, he shows off his athletic ability at running back where he rushed for 3 touchdowns and caught the ball out of the backfield on multiple occasions. De’Veion has the speed and athleticism to play defense at the next level.
