Alex Bueno Alex Bueno 5'11" | 175 lbs | QB Rochester | 2023 State MI (2023) | 6’0 180 QB | Rochester High
Alex Bueno Alex Bueno 5'11" | 175 lbs | QB Rochester | 2023 State MI is a dynamic, dual-threat quarterback, who in his junior season was able to put together some eye-popping tape. At 6’0, 180 pounds, Bueno has a big arm and game-breaking speed. He has great poise in the pocket and a unique ability to escape the pocket and extend plays when needed. Bueno’s speed and athleticism make him a big-play threat every time he touches the ball. Bueno led the falcons to a 5-4 regular-season record and a state playoff appearance. Alex has a big, accurate arm with a quick release. Bueno competed in one of the best conferences in the state, the OAA-W, and will look to lead Rochester to a city championship and deep playoff run in the Fall.
Leeshaun Mumpfield Leeshaun Mumpfield 5'10" | 175 lbs | QB Cass Tech | 2023 State MI (2023) | 5’9 175 QB | Detroit Cass Tech
Mumpfield is the starting quarterback for one of the most storied programs in the state of Michigan. Cass Tech football has a rich tradition of championship football and college/pro player alumnus. Leeshaun was handed the keys to the Cass Tech offense last year and was able to throw for 21 passing touchdowns and rushed for another 2. The duel-threat southpaw has a quick release and had a lot of success with the RPO concepts ran by the Cass Tech offense. Look for Leeshaun to put up some big-time numbers in his senior season with Cass Tech this Fall.
CJ Jackson (2023) 5’10 175 QB | Bloomfield Hills High
In his junior campaign, Jackson led Bloomfield Hills to a perfect, 9-0 regular season competing at the highest level of football in the state, Division 1. In his junior season, Jackson threw for 1,821 passing yards and rushed for 331 yards on his way to a school-record, 35 touchdowns in 10 games. The numbers speak for themself and on film, Jackson shows the ability to make plays with his feet and make some eye-popping throws while on the run. A tremendous athlete at the quarterback position, CJ plays both ways for Bloomfield Hills, playing defensive back on the defensive side of the ball. Look for CJ Jackson to put up some big numbers in his senior season this Fall.
Jaiden Sanders Jaiden Sanders 5'10" | 180 lbs | QB L’Anse Creuse | 2023 MI (2023) 5’10 175 QB | L’Anse Creuse
In his Junior season, Sanders threw for 1,289 yards through the air and 20 touchdowns. The 1st-Team All-County, 1st-Team All-MAC selection led the Lancers to a 7-2 regular season and their third consecutive playoff appearance. Sanders displays good arm strength, poise in the pocket, and the ability to extend the play outside of the pocket when things break down. A true dual-threat quarterback, Sanders will look to put up some video game numbers in his senior season in the Fall.
TY Norgren TY Norgren 6'0" | 200 lbs | LB Trenton | 2023 MI (2023) 6’0 195 QB | Trenton
Norgren competes in the Downriver conference, which is one of the more completive leagues in SE Michigan. In his junior season, Norgren led Trenton to a 5-4 regular season and a playoff appearance. On tape, Norgren shows the ability to make accurate throws on the run and extend plays outside of the pocket. At 6’0 and 195 pounds, Norgren moves well for his size and has a calm presence in the pocket. He finished the season with over 1,200 all-purpose yards and 15 touchdowns. Norgren can run and pass, look for him and Trenton football to make a splash in the Downriver conference this Fall.
Braylen Himmelein (2023) 6’4 195 QB | Davison
The 6’4 gunslinger from Davison averaged 24 passing attempts per game in the high-powered, division 1, Davison offense. A pocket-passer by trade, Himmelein moves well for his size and has a big-time arm. At 6’4 195 pounds, Himmelein is an intriguing quarterback prospect both on the field and on paper. He will look to lead Davison to another deep playoff run in the Fall.
