After the 2023 article for the Oklahoma drill I feel like there needs to be a follow-up for 2024.
1st team
Offense
RB- [player_tooltip player_id="205262" first="Elijah" last="Taniah"], Sioux Falls Washington
Taniah had a breakout year this season and was a real spark for the Warriors offense. In this drill I like his elusiveness, vision and patience to let blocks develop to be a tough guy to tackle.

[player_tooltip player_id="305526" first="Erik" last="Salmen"], Hitchcock-Tulare
Salmen also had his breakout season that had Hitchcock-Tulare making a lot of noise this season. For drill purposes, he is patient for his blockers, but will run through a defender if they aren't ready on that given play.
<a href="http://www.hudl.com/video/3/14065827/613560c04debb3041cf69f02">Sophomore Season</a>
OL- [player_tooltip player_id="77493" first="Navarro" last="Schunke"], Brandon Valley
Schunke is a man-child, and has been since he was in Eighth grade. Getting to start on the Offensive Line for the Lynx as a Freshman and help their rushing attack earn them a State Title. I like his footwork and hand-placement for this drill, and his drive will make it real tough for both defenders.
<a href="http://www.hudl.com/v/2H5CFS">Sophomore Year</a>
[player_tooltip player_id="289599" first="Dashawn" last="Rohlik"], Sioux Falls Jefferson
Rohlik did a good job on the line for the Cavaliers in their first season. I like his explosion off the ball, and his aggression with the Defensive Lineman for this drill. He keeps good pad-level and leverage to win his battle in the trenches.
<a href="http://www.hudl.com/video/3/14869707/6185afa54205bd07fc8e40ee"> Sophomore Season</a>
Defense
DL- [player_tooltip player_id="174168" first="Riley" last="Sunram"], Kindred
I liked Sunram's size already as a Defensive Lineman, but his style of play makes him a favorite to watch in the trenches. His initial push off the line with his pad-level and hand-technique really free him to make plays in the backfield, probably be the same in this drill as well.
<a href="http://www.hudl.com/video/3/14821493/61a40e58d46905007c2d436f">Sophomore Season</a>
[player_tooltip player_id="289648" first="Brycen" last="Mitchell"], Sioux Falls Lincoln
Mitchell has a different style of play when it came to being a DT. He wasn't in a hurry to get in the backfield, which he made a big strength of his. He was patient off the ball and identified the play, then let the O-Line make mistakes and shot through gaps to make plays. His hand technique and quick steps helped him make plays.
<a href="http://www.hudl.com/v/2GNsEN">Sophomore Season</a>
LB- [player_tooltip player_id="294166" first="Kade" last="Van Egdom"], Sioux Falls Christian
I like the way Van Egdom positions himself in his gap-filling, then his hand-technique to fight off blockers and make tackles. I like the ferocity in his block shedding and tackling to out him high up on this list in this drill.
<a href="http://www.hudl.com/v/2Gqbze">Sophomore Season</a>
[player_tooltip player_id="174205" first="Mason" last="Wilson"], Sioux Falls Washington
I like the Wrecking Ball Style of defense that Wilson is. When in doubt, knock everyone over, and he did that very well. He didn't just throw his shoulder into the ballcarrier, he would size them up and get a good fit on them to wrap them up on each play, delivering the big hit as well.

Hybrid (Both Offense and Defense)
OL/DL- [player_tooltip player_id="289682" first="Lawson" last="Lotysz"], Grand Forks Red River
Lotysz uses his sheer size and power to dominate the line, on both sides of the ball. He barrels through the O-Line and gets in the backfield almost immediately after the snap. He washes down defenders on down blocks and really opens the gap for the run game.
<a href="http://www.hudl.com/v/2GLcZS">Sophomore Season</a>
OL/LB- [player_tooltip player_id="174178" first="Collin" last="Tisdall"], Herreid/Selby Area
Tisdall also has that Wrecking Ball factor, on both sides of the ball. He will bury the D-Lineman after he snaps the ball, but can move well enough to climb levels and make blocks downfield. He is also the hard-hitting tackler on the defensive side and will make some pretty good form tackles along the way.
<a href="http://www.hudl.com/video/3/14839557/6191d93d38634e09304c4dfe">Sophomore Season</a>
RB/LB- [player_tooltip player_id="105505" first="Aiden" last="Barfuss"], Winner
Barfuss is a fundamentally sound player on both sides of the ball. He fills his gap and sits there to make the play on defense. Offensively, he takes the ball and runs hard, will run through defenders getting in his way.
