Michael Alexander (2023) | 6’5 315 T | Trenton
Alexander might be the most under-the-radar lineman in the state. What he’s been able to show on tape is eye-popping. The 6’5, 315-pound lineman is a force on both sides of the ball for Trenton high school. On the offensive side of the ball, Alexander’s strength, speed, and agility are on display at the right tackle position. Some could argue that Alexander is an even better defensive lineman but, regardless of the side of the ball he’s on, Alexander simply overpowers both defensive and offensive linemen that stand in his way. Alexander is a good athlete and has fantastic range and get-off when blocking on the offensive side of the ball. Michael Alexander is a dominant force and he will look to make an impact on both sides of the ball for Trenton in the Fall who will compete in the Downriver Conference.
Hunter Diley (2023) | 6’5 320 T | Riverview
The 6’5 offensive tackle helped lead his Riverview team to a perfect, undefeated regular season in the downriver Huron League. The run-heavy offense of Riverview suits him well where his size, strength, and run blocking talents were on display all season. Hunter has good balance and has a great get-off when the ball is snapped. Combine all his skill set together and you get a 2nd team All-League lineman who will look to make an impact in his senior campaign for Riverview in the Fall.
Adam Vanassche (2023) | 6’5 270 T | Summit Academy
Adam Vanassche is your prototypical offensive tackle. At 6’5 and 270 pounds, Adam has great length and can move his feet well in both the run and pass game. Competing in the Charter School League, Vanassche will most likely tower over opposing defensive lineman this year and he will look to overpower anyone and everything that comes in his path. Vanassche has a solid knee bend and good balance with a tall, lengthy frame, making him a highly effective offensive tackle. Vanassche will look to lead Summit Academy to another CSC-W title in the Fall.
Connor Hayes (2023) | 6’4 330 T | Wyandotte Roosevelt
Hayes starts at offensive tackle for Wyandotte Roosevelt competing in the Downriver Conference. His size and strength make him one of the most dominant offensive linemen in the downriver league. At 6’4 and 330 pounds, Hayes displays good pad level and get off in his film and with his size, he has no problem driving defensive linemen off the ball. Look for Hayes and Wyandotte Roosevelt to turn some heads this year in the Downriver Conference.
Charlie Bondy-Baker (2023) | 6’3 260 C | Jefferson
The center for Jefferson high is the heart and soul of the Jefferson offensive line. Bondy-Baker shows an ability to get off the ball and finish blocks. Jefferson high will compete in the Huron league where Bondy-Baker will look to help them improve upon their 3-6 record in the 2021 season. Charlie Bondy-Baker is a good-sized high school center and could easily compete at the next level.
