Arguably the most important intangible in football, teams need to have somebody that can create a spark. The class of 2025 sees a group of players who have kickstarted their careers by making plays all over the field. Over the course of the next two days, we will spend time evaluating the top athletes in the class. These prospects will be fun to watch in 2022.
Fabio Gama Fabio Gama 5'8" | 170 lbs | ATH Lake Station Edison | 2025 State IN , 5’8, 170 pounds, Lake Station Edison
Fabio Gama Fabio Gama 5'8" | 170 lbs | ATH Lake Station Edison | 2025 State IN carved out a role at linebacker this past season for Lake Station Edison but be on the lookout for his presence to be felt on the offensive side of the ball as well going forward. Gama has the ability to play quarterback, and he can help in a lot of ways offensively. Defensively, Gama appeared seven times for the varsity team. In those games, he recorded 25 tackles at outside linebacker. Fabio Gama Fabio Gama 5'8" | 170 lbs | ATH Lake Station Edison | 2025 State IN has established himself as an integral member of the defense, and in 2022, it looks like big things are on the horizon for him.
Collin Czarnecki Collin Czarnecki 6'1" | 150 lbs | ATH LaVille | 2025 State IN , 6’1, 150 pounds, LaVille
Collin Czarnecki Collin Czarnecki 6'1" | 150 lbs | ATH LaVille | 2025 State IN got his time at LaVille started on the right note by making contributions in all three phases. Czarnecki was a viable receiving option. On the year, he tallied seven receptions for 59 yards. He was a big difference-maker defensively. Czarnecki had 35 tackles this past year. He showed he has the ability to generate turnovers, recording three interceptions and one forced fumble. Czarnecki brought a special teams presence as well. He accumulated just under 100 kickoff return yards. He also helped in the kicking department, making all three of his extra point attempts.

Laytin Huff Laytin Huff 5'11" | 170 lbs | ATH Sullivan | 2025 State IN has shown that he has a high ceiling both at running back and middle linebacker. Huff carried the ball 10 times this past season. He gained 25 yards in the process. Huff had nine tackles and one-tackle-for loss on the defensive side. Huff’s film showcases the potential that he has. Look for him to have a breakthrough sophomore season.
Parker Weir Parker Weir 5'8" | 130 lbs | ATH South Vermillion | 2025 State IN , 5’8, 130 pounds, South Vermillion
Parker Weir Parker Weir 5'8" | 130 lbs | ATH South Vermillion | 2025 State IN is a key player on the South Vermillion defense, and he is an emerging threat at wide receiver. Weir caught four passes last season, totaling 49 yards. Defensively, he was all over the field. Weir notched 29 tackles with 22 of those being solo. He also brought in one interception. Weir can also serve as a punt returner.
Jed Galvin Jed Galvin 5'10" | RB North Posey | 2025 State IN , 5’10, North Posey
It is difficult to find anybody who had a better freshman season than Jed Galvin Jed Galvin 5'10" | RB North Posey | 2025 State IN did on North Posey’s varsity team. In his debut season, Galvin established himself as a workhorse running back, toting the ball 166 times for 1,328 yards. He scored an incredible 18 rushing touchdowns. Galvin was influential as a receiver as well. He caught 12 passes for 311 yards and an additional four touchdowns. On special teams, Galvin only returned three kickoffs, but he made the most of those opportunities. He racked up 210 kickoff return yards with one touchdown return. Defensively, Galvin still brought the same intensity. He had 19 tackles with four passes defensed and one forced fumble.
