There are no guarantees as to who will be a good team from year to year, but one indicator should be who had a lot of Underclassmen All Division players on their team. Pennsauken had 16, so it looks like they have a chance to be very special next year. [player_tooltip player_id="146667" first="Ejani" last="Shakir"], Jr., Wide Receiver Ejani has the size and speed of a modern big play receiver in college football. Skilled at the line of scrimmage, strong at the point of the catch and with the long speed to make big plays. Despite only having 28 catches 8 games, he averaged almost 20 yards per catch and 985 total yards on the season. Always a big play waiting to happen, he had 3 catches for 106 yards in a 40-14 win over Sterling and 5 for 105 yards vs Camden Catholic. He is a polished route runner and is electric in space, giving defenders no clear advantage in coverage whether you press or play off of him. Ejani is stronger this year as well. He's always been skilled beyond his years, but now he has the physicality to run through arm tackles like they aren’t even there and create yards after the catch with strength as well as speed. A rated a four star Wide Receiver by one National recruiting service and the #1 ranked WR in the Prepredzone NJ Rankings, Ejani has offers from over a dozen D1 teams like Boston College, Florida State, Miami and Nebraska. <a href="https://www.hudl.com/profile/13011123/Ejani-Shakir">https://www.hudl.com/profile/13011123/Ejani-Shakir</a> &nbsp; [player_tooltip player_id="172489" first="Elijah" last="Jennings"], So., Running Back Elijah is one of he more explosive athletes you’ll ever see. He has bonified track speed in the backfield and his toughness belies his size. On a team packed with D1 talent his team fed him the ball, having 204 carries for 1331 yards and 15 touchdowns. Elijah showed impressive growth as a running back in year two, now having great patience in his game. Oftentimes young, fast backs out run their blocking on the front side but Elijah used his blocks very effectively and then exploded through to the second level. What impressed be most was his patience on the counters and the vision for cutback he displayed in his film. He also makes a great target for his quarterback out of the backfield, making plays outside of the scope of the offense when plays break down. He’s becoming a complete back, and I’m really looking forward to his Junior season. His hard work hasn’t gone unnoticed as he’s drawn D1 offers from Temple, Ole Miss and Boston College and is the #3 ranked ATH in the state in the 2024 Prepredzone Rankings. <a href="https://www.hudl.com/profile/14911675/Elijah-Jennings">https://www.hudl.com/profile/14911675/Elijah-Jennings</a> [player_tooltip player_id="146697" first="Kahlil" last="Ali"], Jr., Safety It takes a great deal of discipline and study as well as athletic ability to play the game within the game at safety, and Kahlil is already doing it well. At 6’2, 190 lbs Kahlil is already the size of a D1 safety and knows how to use it. The word I keep coming back to is timing. His timing is perfect in the passing game, meeting the ball at the perfect time for pass break ups and 3 interceptions on the season. When he comes downhill for the run, he fills the alley and bring the ball carrier down for short gains as is shown by his 21 solo tackles from the safety spot. When Kahlil hits you, you stop. On offense he had 23 catches for 430 yards and 9 TD, his size being a problem for everyone in the secondary as he is athletic enough and strong enough to make contested catches and finish runs to the endzone. A truly outstanding contributor on both sides of the ball. Kahlil was named 1<sup>st</sup> team all-conference and has  D1 offers from Penn State, Michigan State, Maryland and Boston College just to name a few. <a href="https://www.hudl.com/profile/6290171/Kahlil-Ali">https://www.hudl.com/profile/6290171/Kahlil-Ali</a> [player_tooltip player_id="220048" first="Dante" last="Viccharelli"], So., Quarterback Dante is 5<sup>th</sup> in passing yards in a very talented NJ Sophomore class with 161 completions for 1305 yds and 16 Total touchdowns, but the thing that impressed me most about Dante’s game is his touch and ball placement. He throws a beautiful deep ball but it’s special because the ball placement enables yards after the catch. His touch on the throws allows the route to develop, throwing  receivers open with anticipation. His accuracy is more than numbers too. When you look at the film you’ll notice that his receivers often have to extend to make catches, putting the ball where only his talented group of receivers can get to them. He also has nice zip on the ball in his intermediate passes.  I don’t do pro comparisons often, but what made Drew Brees so special wasn’t anything overwhelmingly physical. It was command of the offense and throwing a catchable ball. Dante is advanced in his skillset and the experience he gained this year will serve him well in the coming years. <a href="https://www.hudl.com/profile/14822710/Dante-Viccharelli">https://www.hudl.com/profile/14822710/Dante-Viccharelli</a> I’d like to recognize all the other players on Pennsauken’s team that were named to the NJ.com All-Liberty Division team: OL: Damir Evans OL: London English OL: Tymir Hawkins FLEX: Gian Rugama DL: [player_tooltip player_id="119052" first="Kelvin" last="Bishop"] LB: Jihad Presbury LB: Shane Kenner KR: Daniel Sconiers P: Sean Rullo DL: Jayden Farmer LB: Isaiash Jones DB: Keith Bowles OL: Girvan Johnson &nbsp; Congratulations to Head Coach, Clinton Tabb III and his staff for all their success and good luck next year! &nbsp; &nbsp;
