De La Salle T Brendan Dignan
Dignan stands at a towering 6’6″ 285lbs coming off a state-championship season where he mostly played Tackle. He performed well against some of the best programs in the state and, I have no doubt he continues to refine his craft while hitting the weight room. Aside from a few fundamental issues, Digman is a great lineman with a ton of upside.
I look forward to seeing Dignan face off against elite competition.
Brother Rice G Charles Mackley
Mackley has already visited and gotten the attention of some colleges, but the 2022 season will serve as an opportunity to show what he can do. His highlights are long, and they showcase his aggression and fundamental prowess. He’s an excellent size for a guard at 6’3″ 235lbs while sporting good lifting numbers., Eyes will be on him from college coaches, I do not doubt it, and he’ll be looking to prove himself after a hopefully productive offseason.
Catholic Central T Zion Tinnon
Already a great C/G for Catholic Central, Tinnon preps for what will hopefully be a dominant senior season. Catholic Central is known for having excellent offensive lines, and Tinnon is no exception. His frame as an interior lineman is reasonable, as he stands at 6′ 260lbs. He can get real low, providing significant leverage and power. The lifting numbers are good, and I hope that he works obsessively over the offseason to get those up even more.
St. Mary’s T Darrell Rounds
Standing at 6’2″ 270lbs, Rounds made his name known in the Catholic League throughout 2021. He comes off the ball fast and is excellent at punishing defensive linemen who come off unbalanced. Rounds sports tremendous leverage and great power, plus he’s done quite a bit off the field, including serving as Class President. I feel great about Rounds, and I’m excited to see him play in 2022.
