Here are the players who were selected to be on the All-City Team by the LA City Section. OPEN DIVISION Player of the Year: [player_tooltip player_id="25318" first="Arlis" last="Boardingham"], Birmingham Analysis: Boardingham was the best player on the best team in the City Section. He had 836 yards receiving with 15 touchdowns, ran for 171 yards and five touchdowns. He had 67 tackles and two sacks on defense. Boardingham is the best prospect in the section with 19 offers. He is visiting Florida this weekend and Oregon next weekend. He also ran for six touchdowns. https://twitter.com/SPPirateFB/status/1478494085522472966?s=20 Offensive Line MVP: Gabriel Anguiano, San Pedro Defensive Player of the Year: Delamonte Barnes, Birmingham Analysis: He had 85 tackles, 11 for a loss with two forced fumbles for Birmingham this season. He is a big bruiser at linebacker and lays big hits. https://twitter.com/bcchsfbpatriots/status/1478470618249113605?s=20 Defensive Line MVP: Carlos Rivera, Birmingham First Team Offense: QB David Jordan-Oliveros, Birmingham, Sr. RB Daniel Anoh, Palisades, Sr. Analysis: Anoh averaged over 10 yards per carry this season. He had 1419 rushing yards with 21 rushing touchdowns in just 12 games for a very good Palisades team. RB [player_tooltip player_id="25285" first="Jakob" last="Galloway"], Banning, Sr. Analysis: The best running back in the Section but suffered an injury that caused him to miss much of the end of the season. He is headed to San Jose State. RB Andre Watkins, Lincoln, Sr. Analysis: Ran for 1632 yards and 19 touchdowns in 11 games. He was regularly on the top rushing performances of the week list. RB Julian Quezada, Roosevelt, Jr. WR Robert Sarmiento, San Pedro, Sr. WR Chris Nixon, San Pedro, Sr. WR Seth Fao, Banning, Jr. WR Moses Ross, Palisades, Sr. Analysis: One of only three receivers in the section with over 1,000 yards receiving. He had 14 touchdowns in 11 games. He has track level speed and would be a late steal for a FCS level college team or FBS team. https://twitter.com/palihsfootball/status/1478544628840239114?s=20 WR Terryonte Taylor, South Gate, Jr. OL Christian Ramirez, Birmingham, Sr. OL Alejandro Rodriguez, Banning, Sr. OL Jonathan Pizante, Palisades, Sr. OL Nicholas Santiago, Lincoln, Sr. OL Robert Vega, Garfield, Sr. OL Daniel Burton, Roosevelt, Sr. K Giovanni Ferrero, Palisades, Sr. First Team Defense: DL Maynor Morales, Birmingham, So. DL Luke Ah Kiong, Banning, Sr. DL Josiah Christopher, Palisades, Sr. DL Vicente Godinez, Lincoln, Jr. DL Marlon Abarca, South Gate, Sr. LB Jordan Padilla, Birmingham, Sr. LB Kain Parris, San Pedro, Sr. LB Elijah Thorpe, San Pedro, Sr. LB Jack Babala, Palisades, Sr. LB Toby Manheim, Palisades, Jr. LB Carlos Velasquez, Roosevelt, Sr. Analysis: He had 93 tackles, 11 hurries, two forced fumbles and four fumble recoveries for Roosevelt this season. He had three interceptions as well. Big linebacker who flies all over the field. https://twitter.com/ErikSarni1/status/1455023505943109632?s=20 DB Patrick Robinson, Birmingham, Sr. DB Peyton Waters, Birmingham, So. DB [player_tooltip player_id="187002" first="Kejuan" last="Bullard"], San Pedro, Sr. Analysis: Two-way star for San Pedro who is signed with San Jose State. Has length and can make big plays. https://twitter.com/SPPirateFB/status/1478492962879197188?s=20 DB Jayden Barnes, Garfield, So. DB Timothy Jackson, Birmingham, Sr. DB Ricardo Abrego, Palisades, Sr. DB Ivan Plancarte, Lincoln, Sr. P Justin Vergara, Garfield, So. Analysis: Averaged 40 yards per punt and made all of the team’s extra points this season. DIVISION 1 MVP: [player_tooltip player_id="186814" first="Thomas" last="Kensinger"], Venice Analysis: Defensively, he had 103 tackles with 18.5 for a loss, 7.5 sacks and two forced fumbles. He had a pair of receiving touchdowns on offense and blocked a punt. He is an under-recruited guy who has a lot of lower level offers. https://twitter.com/FootballVenice/status/1478838275674501122?s=20 Offensive MVP: Kayden Collins, Canoga Park Analysis: Collins led the Section in rushing yards with 2,492 with 26 touchdowns for an average of 11.3 yards per carry. Nobody made more of an impact for their team than Collins did for Canoga Park this season. https://twitter.com/CanogaFootball/status/1459360447052746757?s=20 Offensive Lineman of the Year: Antwan Irby, Venice Defensive MVP: Mychai Williams, Dorsey Analysis: He had 10 interceptions this season which led the City Section. He has a lot of low level offers and a PWO from Nevada. I think he can make an impact at the FCS level and even get playing time as a walk on at Nevada if he wanted. https://twitter.com/mychai_williams/status/1478622009185554432?s=20 Defensive Lineman of the Year: Saleem Marshall, Reseda Analysis: He caused havoc in the backfield all season long for Reseda. He had 93 tackles with 14 coming for loss and he forced three fumbles. https://twitter.com/resedafootball/status/1466817328151072771?s=20 First Team Offense: QB Isiah Diaz, Franklin, Sr. QB Josh Coleman, Dorsey, Sr. QB Malachi Betters, South East, Sr. QB Christopher Carillo, Huntington Park, Sr. RB Kelvin Duran, Arleta, Sr. Analysis: He ran for 2218 yards and 31 touchdowns for Arleta. He was too strong of a running back for City Section defenders to tackle and he had to be near the top of the state in yards after contact. https://twitter.com/ArletaFootball/status/1479878754260295680?s=20 RB Robert Lamara, Venice, Sr. RB Bryant Collins, Dymally, So. RB Sione Manu, Kennedy, Sr. WR Hector Ceballos, Franklin, Jr. Analysis: Ceballos led the City Section in receiving yards and touchdowns this season with 1,504 and 19 respectively. He is an unreal route runner with very good speed. Will be interesting to see how his recruitment goes. https://twitter.com/fhspantherftbll/status/1478494171128205314?s=20 WR Rashawn Jackson, Venice, Jr. WR Jaden Jones, Carson, Sr. WR Stefan Roberts, Cleveland, Sr. WR Paulo Schochinski-Chavez, Kennedy, Sr. OL Antonio Ochoa, Granada Hills, Sr. OL Christian Contreras, Canoga Park, Sr. OL Guadalupe Cedillo, Arleta, Sr. OL Christian Mendoza, Canoga Park, Sr. OL Moin Singh, Chatsworth, Sr. K Daniel Licea, Franklin, So. First Team Defense: DL Deji Olabode, Reseda, Sr. DL Elijah Henderson, Dorsey, Sr. DL Christopher Alcantar, Cleveland, Sr. DL Percy Jackson, Venice, Sr. DL Nickolas Love, Reseda, Sr. LB Tyler Williams, Dorsey, Sr. LB Anthony Villalobos, Canoga Park, Sr. LB Brooklyn Pasten, Eagle Rock, Sr. LB Javaun Lewis Jr., Dorsey, Sr. LB Romeo Sygnore, Venice, Sr. LB Manny Maldonado, Reseda, Sr. DB Zion Benett, Crenshaw, Sr. DB Tommy An, Chatsworth, Sr. DB Jason Wagner, Reseda, Sr. DB Jamier Flowers, Venice, Sr. DB Benjamin Villareal, Franklin, So. DB Dominic Ventura, Eagle Rock, Sr. P Jeovanni Gonzalez, Arleta, Sr.
