#1 Dante Moore Dante Moore 6'2" | 210 lbs | QB Detroit King | 2023 State MI (#2 overall)
Who is this guy again? I’m joking of course, because Dante Moore Dante Moore 6'2" | 210 lbs | QB Detroit King | 2023 State MI is likely the most recognizable Michigan High School athlete. Moore is elite everything. Size, arm strength, IQ, etc. He is Mr. Football and Mr. Full ride to wherever he wants because he straight up deserves it.
#2 Drew Viotto Drew Viotto 6'4" | 220 lbs | QB Walled Lake Western | 2023 State MI (#16 overall)
Viotto lit up the Lakes Valley League with just under 2000 yards passing with 22 touchdowns with a 68% completion percentage, which earned him all-region and all-league honors. He is a pro-style quarterback who has a rocket arm, and he has a unique ability to sidestep in the pocket eluding pressure, then firing a strike while staying calm. With that being said, his IQ and footwork are elite. He’s truly a next-level talent and I am looking forward to seeing the colleges come calling.

#3 Brady Drogosh Brady Drogosh 6'5" | 205 lbs | QB De La Salle | 2023 State MI (#18 overall)
Another well-known player, Drogosh dominated the Catholic League and led De La Salle to an undefeated State Champion run. He’s a very tall QB at 6’5″ and he uses this to his advantage. He’s able to make any throw at any time in any situation. His IQ is one of the best in the state, and he’s being coached up by some of the best in the state. He’s also a star basketball player. It’s really just a matter of time before he gets attention from the colleges!
#4 Christian Johnson Christian Johnson 6'0" | 210 lbs | QB River Rouge | 2023 State MI (#21 overall)
A big QB at 6’2″ 210lbs, Johnson and co make up a state championship contending River Rouge team. He’s a dual-threat with. a cannon arm with the best receiving core in high school. All in all, he’s a very good all-around QB with upside as a dual threat, but may need to further prove his passing talent though the colleges have a very close eye on River Rouge, and he’ll surely get the offers sometime.
#5 Reeves Taylor Reeves Taylor 6'3" | 185 lbs | QB Dexter | 2023 MI (#24 overall)
Reeves Taylor Reeves Taylor 6'3" | 185 lbs | QB Dexter | 2023 MI is a very interesting athlete on this list. He compares himself to Desmond Ridder and Eli Manning, and I would have to somewhat agree. Taylor commands the offense well and has a laser for an arm with a tight spiral, and is able to time his throws to perfection. There is a glaring negative to his resume; his record. Holland Christian was 2-7 this past season in the OAA Blue, which houses a mix of bad competition (Hamilton) to great competition (Unity Christian).
#6 Parker Picot Parker Picot 6'2" | 185 lbs | QB Rochester Adams | 2023 State MI (#26 overall)
An Alabama baseball commit, Parker Picot Parker Picot 6'2" | 185 lbs | QB Rochester Adams | 2023 State MI shocked the world this year, leading Rochester Adams to the D1 state championship while earning 1st team all-state with being a Mr. Football candidate. Now, Picot is a veer quarterback, which is a triple-option offense. This obviously means that he runs the ball a LOT more than the average QB, and guess what? He’s incredible in all aspects. He makes the perfect veer read every time, and when it’s his time to run the ball, he’s a mix between a motorcycle and a tank. Passing-wise, he’s very capable but is generally inconsistent. There are times where he puts the ball in a perfect spot, and other times where it seems the ball slipped out.
#7 Leeshaun Mumpfield Leeshaun Mumpfield 5'10" | 175 lbs | QB Cass Tech | 2023 State MI (#40 overall)
Known for his deep ball, Mumpfield leads Cass Tech well and makes them into a state championship contender. He earned his all-region status and with a ton of work this offseason plus more amazing performances against amazing teams, he will work his way up the list, no doubt.
