State Championships: All Defensive Line Team

2023 [player_tooltip player_id="189509" first="Michael" last="Kilbane"] (Saint Ed’s) 6’4 245- Kilbane really came on his junior year and that culminated with the state championship game. Kilbane had a half a sack and a tackle for a loss. Kilbane is a really good combo of length, strength, and athleticism. He’s getting D1 interest from the MAC, but I’d expect that he’ll start to see some P5 interest this offseason. 2022 [player_tooltip player_id="34459" first="Jayden" last="Denton"] (Winton Woods) 6’3 235- Denton was all over the field versus Archbishop Hoban. Denton had 1 Sack and 1 TFL. He’s a late bloomer as he just moved to defensive line from defensive back for his Senior season. Jayden does a great job of using length to keep blockers at bay and then uses his combo of strength and speed to disengage and make plays. Denton is getting D2-D3 interest. He’s an all-around defensive lineman. He plays with a low center of gravity and great athleticism. He does a great job of shedding blocks and making plays. He holds up against the run or the pass. Jayron is getting D2 and D1 FCS interest. [player_tooltip player_id="147047" first="CJ" last="Harvey"] (Saint Ed’s) 6’1 270- Harvey gave a strong Springfield offensive line fits all night long. He tallied 2 sacks for 23 yards, 3.5 TFL’s for 26 yards, and another QB hit. Harvey has a very good get-off and plays with good low leverage and a strong motor. Harvey is getting D2 and D3 interest. 2022 [player_tooltip player_id="34487" first="Logan" last="Neu"] (Hamilton Badin) 6’3 235- Neu played defensive end for the Rams. He racked up 7 tackles a half a sack and another QB pressure. Nue plays with good leverage at the point of attack and displays good acceleration when he gets free from his blocks. Logan is committed to play for the Miami Redhawks.
