The Class of 2028, Vermilion High School offensive lineman has the size to play at the next level: a big, 6-foot-7, 285-pound frame with plenty of room to grow and add bulk. His size alone makes him hard to get around for opposing defensive ends. He flashes bend, good use-of-hands and leg drive to maul defenders in the run game. The 6-foot-2, 190-pound Class of 2027 prospect throws a nice, accurate deep ball, hitting receivers in stride. Very good thrower on the touch pass over the MOF with a quick release, clean footwork in his drop back, and flashes athleticism. At tight end he is quick to catch, tuck the ball away and get upfield, and displays solid take-off at the line-of-scrimmage. He can run through contact in space and make plays after the catch. Van Divner can be very good with the ball in his hands, possesses good short-area quickness and flashes good speed over the middle of the field. He can be a legit deep-play threat, flashes good hands and great adjustment to the ball.
