Here is Part II in this series in which we take a closer look at some players to keep a close eye on through out the Northern California teams that are playing in State Championships on Saturday.

RB/LB [player_tooltip player_id="145235" first="Jerry" last="Mixon"], Sacred Heart Cathedral HS
Mixon already holds an offer from SJSU and projects as a linebacker at the next level, but makes a big impact while playing multiple positions. Very smart and instinctual, he closes gaps quickly and displays strong tackling abilities in the open field while bringing a nice pop at the POA through ball carriers. He should continue to rack up more FBS and FCS offers this off-season.
ATH, Bruce Upresa, Sacred Heart Cathedral HS
Able to do a little bit of everything, the 2022 prospect is a high motor player that can impact the game in all three phases. Having good size for the linebacker position, he is extremely physical in the box and packs a punch upon contact while playing downhill and is also able to rush the passer from multiple angles. Also seemingly comfortable in coverage, he reads the field well and can jump routes/shows natural instincts. Without a doubt, he is one of the best available linebackers Norcal has to offer.
EDGE, Charles McBride, Marin Catholic HS
McBride has great length and size for the edge position and will only continue to pack on more weight in college. Possessing an elite first step, he gains the edge quickly and shows a quick use of hands while able to rush the passer with both speed and power. Stable against the run, he is a smart player that understands his assignments and creates knock-back consistently.
TE/DE, [player_tooltip player_id="145171" first="Jaeden" last="Moore"], Central Valley Christian HS
One of the best pass rushers across the state, Moore has offers from half the Pac-12 and is a elite prospect. Only a Junior, he is twitchy off the edge and explodes through blockers with inside hands and plays with very good leverage, especially for his height. Able to close quickly, he is a long strider that plays with heavy hands and can flip his hips around the edge while showing good change of direction and body control through out his rushes.
