These past couple of weeks coaches have been on the road recruiting. With in-home visits for schools top commits/targets as well as school visits. Here is some news on what’s happening in the PA recruiting world from commitments to offers and even a special announcement from a top athlete in the 2023 class.

<strong>2022 Stroudsburg DE [player_tooltip player_id="27623" first="Nate" last="Voorhis"] Commits</strong>
After UConn lost 3 PA commits in October/November, Voorhis announced his commitment back to UConn after he took his official visit on December 3rd. He de-committed with the uncertainty of the coaching change but seems to have bought in what the new coaching staff is bringing and the culture of it. Expect him to sign his letter of intent on Wednesday.

<strong>2024 Roman Catholic WR [player_tooltip player_id="141010" first="Tyseer" last="Denmark"]</strong>
Denmark had quite a bit of offers before his sophomore season but is racking up a lot more now. Denmark is currently ranked 11th overall based on the limited film from freshman season. We will be doing the 2024 rankings soon, but it looks like Denmark could be the number one player on our board. Within the past month, he has received Notre Dame, Ohio State, Florida State, Miami, and Georgia. His highlights are below.

<strong>2024 Imhotep RB [player_tooltip player_id="142836" first="Tre" last="McLeod"] </strong>
McLeod is someone who had a few offers in the spring but has also received a couple more recently with Texas A&M and Mississippi. McLeod is currently ranked 15th overall, but he should be moving up as well. Highlights are below.

<strong>2024 Aliquippa LB Cameron Lindsey</strong>
Lindsey received his first offer from Penn State on December 10th. Lindsey was a big part of the Quips’ state championship run. He recorded a pick 6 in the championship game. Lindsey started off the season as a running back but with the emergence of Hayes, he started playing linebacker.

<strong>Bishop McDevitt’s [player_tooltip player_id="154352" first="Stone" last="Saunders"] and Rico Scott</strong>
There were a couple of Crusaders who received an offer from the University of Pittsburgh after their state championship game. Freshman QB <strong>Saunders</strong>, who had an unbelievable season. Saunders broke Bishop McDevitt’s single-season passing touchdown record with 46. He has 4 total offers, 3 Power 5. The other is 2024 WR <strong>Scott</strong>, which was his first offer. Scott was third in receiving yards this season. He will be the go-to guy for Saunders these next couple of years as the top 2 receivers for the Crusaders are seniors.

<strong>2024 QB’s [player_tooltip player_id="64022" first="Alex" last="Erby"] and [player_tooltip player_id="64000" first="Brad" last="Birch"]</strong>
Erby and Birch both received MAC offers. Erby with Kent State (first FBS) while Birch received Akron (2nd FBS). Erby and Birch are still the Top 2 QB’s in this class, but that could change next season with a few other quarterbacks emerging from this season. Erby broke school records this year and Birch was the regular season WPIAL passing leader. They both led their teams to the playoffs as well.

<strong>2025 Imhotep RB [player_tooltip player_id="143199" first="Jabree" last="Wallace-Coleman"]</strong>
Coleman is getting big-time offers these past couple of weeks. He is a big back who shows good vision with quickness and speed. He also shows he can catch out of the backfield. Personally, Coleman is my 2nd ranked player in the 2025 class as of right now, but as a team, we will decide where he is ranked in the next couple of weeks. Coleman has SEC offers with Mississippi and Texas A&M as well as other offers from Pitt, Penn State, Boston College, and West Virginia. Highlights are below.

<strong>2025 Aliquippa RB [player_tooltip player_id="220266" first="Tiqwai" last="Hayes"] </strong>
We have mentioned Hayes a number of times these past few weeks. He was dominant in the playoffs for the Quips. He even carried the ball 32 times for 141 yards and 3 touchdowns in their state title win over Bishop McDevitt Thursday night. Hayes finished the season with 247 carries for 1,730 yards and 22 touchdowns. His performance this season has earned him two big offers recently with Pitt and Penn State (both coming within a week of each other). His state championship highlights are below.

<strong> 2025 St. Joe’s Prep Anthony Sacca</strong>
Sacca has received a couple of big-time offers recently with Tennessee and South Carolina. Sacca doesn’t have much film, but he is a tall kid listed at 6’4 195. He’s got good speed and physical who shows to be a good tackler/hard hitter. He plays safety but with his size, could grow into a linebacker or possibly d-end. It’ll be interesting to see how he continues to develop. Highlights are below.
