We had two very close games last night with 4 equally matched teams. I will detail the top recruits below.
[player_tooltip player_id="189509" first="Michael" last="Kilbane"] OLB, St. Edward (2022) - Mike has 5 Division 1 offers and more should be coming after his performances this post season. He is a monster on the edge with the size, speed, power, and technique to be a special player on Saturday’s next fall. Does a great job in the open field with his tackling ability. He is a really powerful and gets to extension quickly. He reads plays very well. He is a relentless in his pass rush and routinely is in the QB’s face. Don’t miss out on him.
[player_tooltip player_id="187922" first="Hayden" last="Rice"] WR, St. Edward (2022) - Hayden is the go to receiver. Didn’t put up big numbers on Friday night but made a mark for himself blocking. He runs precise routes and is good at gaining separation. He gets up on the second level and makes plays with the ball in the air. Separates in the open field and can be a deep threat. Impressive perimeter blocker with good use of hands and aggression.
Chris Mazzaferri WR, Upper Arlington (2022) - Chris is an under the radar player who does all things well on the football field. He caught 3 passes for 60 yards and was a reliable target. He is a good route runner with superb hands. He makes every route look the same initially with good snap back to the QB in his breaks. He has big play ability and gets into the secondary and pulls away. Can take the top off or sit in the zone. Take a good look at him for scholarships.
[player_tooltip player_id="34498" first="Anthony" last="Brown"] WR, Springfield (2023) - This Junior is very good and should be a force next season. Anthony runs really good routes and he separates really well in the open field. He is very athletic and dynamic with the ball in his hands. He can score every time he touches the ball. Keep him on your short list this offseason.
