Believe it or not, we are already through four weeks of the 2021 high school football season here in Pennsylvania. The first month of the season has been a fun one with some top players living up to expectations while some other players have really surpassed expectations so far as well. One position that has seen plenty of strong starts to the season is the quarterbacks, let’s take a look at some of the quarterbacks that are truly standing out above the rest. Colin Quintano (Notre-Dame Green Pond): We have Quintano as our No.3 quarterback in the class of 2022 and our 38th ranked player overall in the class. He’s proving us right and more so far this season, Quintano as our No.3 quarterback in the class of 2022 and our 38th ranked player overall in the class. He’s proving us right and more so far this season. He’s without a doubt one of the best quarterbacks the state has to offer. Quintano is well on his way to setting career highs as he has amassed 1,127-yards and 14 touchdowns through the air already this season as well as 111 rushing yards and three additional touchdowns. [player_tooltip player_id="91653" first="Jeff" last="Hoenstine"] (Central): The junior quarterback is off to potentially the best start of any quarterback in the state. The Central signal-caller has thrown for 1,070-yards on the season, an average of just under 270-yards per game while throwing for 19 touchdowns and one interception. The 5-foot-10 quarterback is already Central’s all-time passing touchdowns leader and will surely have plenty of time to break every other school record at his current pace. The 5-foot-10 quarterback is already Central’s all-time passing touchdowns leader and will have surely plenty of time to break every other school record at his current pace. [player_tooltip player_id="64022" first="Alex" last="Erby"] (Steelton-Highspire): Just a sophomore, Erby is putting up eye-opening numbers and is looking like one of the top quarterbacks in the state regardless of position. The class of 2024 quarterbacks has already thrown for 1,400-yards and 21 touchdowns while adding 120 yards and a rushing touchdown as well. He’s a truly special talent and is already one of the best players in the state. [player_tooltip player_id="95759" first="Logan" last="Klitsch"] (Conrad Weiser): The Dartmouth football commitment is showing why he’s headed to play at the FCS level, like Erby, Klitsch is already setting school records with Conrad Weiser this season Klitsch is averaging 263 yards per game this season through the air and additional 86-yards per game on the ground this season. His accuracy has been solid, completing 65.9% of his passes this season, and is averaging 17.5 yards per completion. He’s on his way to a tremendous touchdown already amassed 17 total touchdowns including 11 on the ground. [player_tooltip player_id="154352" first="Stone" last="Saunders"] (Bishop McDevitt): Another fast and rising star in Pennsylvania’s high school ranks, Saunders Only a freshman, Saunders is already showing the poise of an upperclassmen quarterback and has looked strong doing so. Through three games, Saunders has totaled 633 passing yards including 16.7 yards per completion. He’s also already totaled nine passing touchdowns to zero interceptions. Already with FBS offers, Saunders will be a quarterback to keep a very close eye on this season and over the next three seasons. [player_tooltip player_id="64011" first="Keyshawn" last="Morsillo"] (Westinghouse): We do not have stats for Morsillo at this time but what we’ve seen out of him so far this season, we’ve been impressed with. He’s got a good arm and has true dual-threat abilities that allow him to beat opposing defenses in a variety of ways.
