Papillion La Vista Takeaways

The offense works but needs to keep up the run game to wear down the defense more. The more their defense gets rundown the more the Monarchs will control the game more.

Their defense needs to cover better and make sure they don’t get beat on the edges. If they can stop the run as they did at the beginning of the game I think this team can finish better and win these close games.

Great passing offense opening up the field worked very well for them to strike fast and early.

Run defense needs to guard the edges and penetrate once they can get past the offensive line they can force worse throws and interceptions.

Westside takeaways

Great special teams especially with the blocked touchdown and field goal helped them get going.

Pass defense got better and better as the game went on. They began leaving many open receivers to playing very close quarters.

The offense in the first half needs to up their game and get going earlier instead of the end of the second quarter.

The run game was a very nice supplement to the passing game and helped them grind down the Monarchs
