Change: No. 19 to No. 6
There was not a lot to go on for Kane during the last rankings update from a film standpoint. He had to wait until the spring to play due to his season being postponed in the fall because of COVID-19. Kane was only able to play two games this past spring. Kane made the most out of his opportunities during the offseason and that’s when his recruitment picked up. During the month of June, Kane picked up offers from Purdue, Clemson, Rutgers, Penn State, and Boston College. He picked up an offer from Pittsburgh earlier this month. So, it isn’t as big of a miss as it would seem when it comes to his rise in the rankings. He was identified as one of the top prospects in New Jersey by Power 5 schools and his new rankings reflect that.

Change: Not ranked to No. 11
Walker is a another prospect that is getting a lot of attention based on his potential. You have to think that the fact that he attends Don Bosco Prep has something to do with the early attention he’s getting. Duke and Syracuse have already offered Walker. We’ll see what he’s able to do on the football field with more playing time this season.

Change: No. 26 to No. 22
Surdez had a breakout year during the 2020 season. He made 63 total tackles (8 solo) an sacked the quarterback twice in the eight games he played in last season. Surdez made 10-plus tackles in three of those games. He has the frame where he can put on some additional weight. If Surdez can duplicate or better his performance from last season, he will start to get more attention from college coaches.

He ran for 100-plus yards four times last season. Goffney-Fleming’s best game came against Sterling where he ran 22 times for 280 yards and four touchdowns in a 47-27 win.
