The Southeastern Conference has some of the best running backs in the state of Michigan. These guys returning in 2021 will be true difference makers on their respective teams.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="99294" first="Jorden" last="Collier"] </strong>(2022) | 5-10 RB | Ypsilanti Lincoln | <a href="http://www.hudl.com/v/2Ej9Mw">Hudl</a>
[player_tooltip player_id="99294" first="Jorden" last="Collier"] does a great job of hitting the hole after his offensive line has engaged their blocks. Collier is a fluid runner and does not have a lot of wasted movements to his cuts. I like how Collier can make a defender miss and then quickly accelerate back up to top speed. He is a powerful runner that is not afraid to put his head down and run defenders over.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="99231" first="Cole" last="Munson"] </strong>(2022) | 5-9 RB | Chelsea | <a href="http://www.hudl.com/v/2F9KnP">Hudl</a>
Munson is a versatile running back. He not only is a great runner but has great hands to catch the football out of the backfield. Munson is an exceptional blocker and shows the strength to knock defenders on the ground. Munson seems to be fearless on the football field, running the ball like he was shot out of a cannon.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="162655" first="Cole" last="Cabana"] </strong>(2023) | 5-11 RB | Dexter |<a href="http://www.hudl.com/video/3/13145304/5fadd0fb7bdd570b488ebaa1"> Hudl</a>
When you attend a high school football game star players almost always stand out. [player_tooltip player_id="162655" first="Cole" last="Cabana"] is a star player that displays his talent every time he touches the football. With a great mix of size, speed, and quickness Cabana is difficult to bring down. [player_tooltip player_id="162655" first="Cole" last="Cabana"] does not just impact the game with his running ability, he also catches the ball out of the backfield, makes tackles on special teams, and delivers powerful blocks for his teammates. As he enters only his junior year in 2021, Cabana will give defenses headaches for a couple more seasons.
<strong>Joshua (Josh) Rush </strong>(2022) | 5-9 RB | Saline | <a href="http://www.hudl.com/v/2EwEqF">Hudl</a>
Rush is a very explosive running back who gets up to top speed quickly. He has that extra gear to outrun defenders even if they have angles on him. Rush also gets involved in the return game. Using his speed and vision, Rush hits the opening and gets to the outside, and breezes past defenders. Josh Rush does a good job of running through tacklers and falling forward to get the extra yardage.
<strong>Trenton (Trent) Hill </strong>(2022) | 5-10 RB | Chelsea | <a href="http://www.hudl.com/v/2Ef9Fz">Hudl</a>
Trent Hill is a fun player to watch. Hill plays the position the way it was meant to be played. He runs hard and does not shy away from contact. He has good speed to break the long runs. Hill's play is a tone-setter for the offense, making defenses have to account for where he is on every play. Hill has a great stiff arm that he uses to keep defenders off of him. Trent Hill will keep defenses on their toes once again in 2021.
