Hayden Beck Hayden Beck 6'3" | 200 lbs | QB Wright City | 2022 MO , 6’3, 205, Wright City
A raw quarterback prospect with a very high ceiling. Beck shows a cannon of an arm and great play strength when underdress in the pocket. He doesn’t get rattled with defenders bearing down on him and is willing to sit in there to deliver a strike. He’s a stout runner who is capable of running through you or around you. Watch out for his stiff arm, too, because it’s nasty! At linebacker, he’s a rangy prospect, equipped with loose hips and overall impressive athleticism.
Reagan Andrew Reagan Andrew 5'9" | 185 lbs | QB MICDS | 2022 State MO , 5’10, 180, MICDS
Andrew may not have the ideal vertical stature, but he does have plenty of ability behind him. This is a spread quarterback that can evade free-rushers and will calmly slide up into the pocket, with his eyes downfield looking for a target. He’s shown exceptional touch and the ability to consistently make throws on the move. On tape, he doesn’t force anything vertically and will work through his full progression, taking what the defense gives him. He’s phenomenal off play-action and will regularly look to challenge safeties.
Caron Spann Caron Spann 6'1" | 200 lbs | QB St. Mary's | 2022 State MO , 6’1, 200, St. Mary’s
This young man could be the most talented prospect on this list. The first thing that jumped out to me on tape was the pure velocity behind his ball. The kid can deliver strike after strike and can fit the ball into tight windows. He’s got clean mechanics and quick hips that help him to drive the football. Spann showed on tape that he can step up into the pocket and easily launch a long ball over fifty yards in the air. He understands ball placement and will throw the back shoulder ball if a corner is draped on his target. He uses his eyes as a weapon, looking off safeties to throw opposite, leading to their demise.
Cooper Brown Cooper Brown 6'3" | 205 lbs | QB Holt | 2022 State MO , 6’3, 210, Holt
A calm pocket-passer that can extend plays when the time calls for it. Brown does a good job identifying potential targets pre-snap and getting the ball out quickly when the blitz is coming. He shows no issues working full-field reads and will at times get to his check down. This young man is extremely in sync with his wideouts and routinely puts the ball right into the breadbasket. He’s got some hidden athleticism and showed a little wiggle when forced off his spot.
Caden Burks Caden Burks 6'3" | 205 lbs | QB Parkview | 2022 State MO , 6’2, 210, Parkview
A dynamic runner that could make you miss in a phone booth. Burks shows calm feet in the pocket and the ability to break contain with relative ease. He’s at his best outside the pocket and can make you pay if you don’t lock on in zone coverage. One of his intriguing traits was that when he was forced to ad-lib, he wasn’t looking to run first. This young man kept his eyes up and pressured linebackers to make a decision, a trait that’s easier said than done in a high school quarterback. Burks can identify holeshots and will put it where only his man can get it.
Trayvon Thomas Trayvon Thomas 6'2" | 185 lbs | QB Hayti | 2022 State MO , 6’2, 185, Hayti
The top-end speed on this kid is just filthy. Thomas is an electric runner who can accelerate past just about anyone on the football field. His mixture of balance and cutting ability makes him a major threat to make something happen in the open field. Watch out on called quarterback runs because he will constantly gash defenses if you’re not playing fundamentally sound football. The arm talent is there, as is the ability to make throws off-platform. Thomas can quickly set up his feet in order to make long verticals throws down the field.
