Burnett’s brother [player_tooltip player_id="25242" first="Keyan" last="Burnett"] is committed to USC and his father went to the University of Arizona.
Gage is an outside linebacker or could move up to defensive end depending on the scheme. He made his first start against Mater Dei and finished the season on varsity against JSerra and Santa Margarita.

Long Beach Poly class of 2023 offensive lineman <strong>Tyson Ruffins</strong> got his first offer from Idaho State on Tuesday.
Ruffins is 6-foot-3, 305 pounds and can play tackle or guard. Poly typically lines up at left tackle but can also be a guard who is effective as a puller. He has strength and gets a good push in the running game.
Idaho State has made a clear effort to recruit in Southern California and has several players on the current roster from Long Beach and Orange County.

Valencia (Valencia) linebacker [player_tooltip player_id="25334" first="Colton" last="Antzoulatos"] received his first offer from the University of Penn on Wednesday.
His brother Blake plays at Cal. Antzoulatos transferred to Valencia from Oaks Christian and got a lot of playing time as a junior this season.
He is an outside linebacker and could be a strong safety depending on the scheme. He excels as a pass rusher and takes good angles in pursuit.

Millikan (Long Beach) freshman [player_tooltip player_id="115471" first="Ryan" last="Pellum"] got a major offer from LSU last Thursday.
LSU is the 20th school to offer the young receiver. Pellum is visiting the campus and Baton Rouge with his mother and stepfather this weekend.
He is an explosive wide receiver whose speed stands out when you watch Millikan play in person.

Santa Margarita linebacker <strong>Matthew Auriemma</strong> is piling up preferred walk-on offers after a successful senior spring season.
He had 20 tackles in five games with two sacks and four tackles for a loss. He is 6-foot-4 and 240 pounds.
Auriemma has only played football for three years. Ole Miss and TCU have offered him preferred walk-ons.
