Over the next few weeks I will preview the best conferences and players within them. Featured below are the best 2022 players from Northwest Ohio’s Three Rivers Athletic Conference.
<span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong>Toledo St. John’s</strong></span>
<strong>James Henry</strong> - RB - 6’1 210 - Workhorse RB with above average downhill running ability. James gets vertical quickly and can run defenders over with ease. He has a great vision and one cut ability. Would be a great type of player to move around and fill a variety of positions. Very good on third down getting the tough yards.

<strong>David Koonce</strong> - LB - 5’10 210 - Certainly a player to keep an eye on. Is a great blitzer and disruptor of QB’s and RB’s in the backfield. Escapes blocks quickly and gets vertical. Look for him to develop this offseason and be a great player as a senior.

<strong>Braden DeGroff</strong> - WR - 5’9 160 - Braden is a stud. He has superb route running ability and the open field wiggle to get open. Very intuitive WR who throttles down in space. Great hands to attack the ball in the air and burst to accelerate to the Endzone. Very impressive player with great upside in 2021.

<span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong>Findlay</strong></span>
<strong>Max Roth</strong> - QB - 6’0 160 - Max is an outstanding dual threat QB with tremendous arm talent and running athletic ability. Faster than most players on the field. He can sling it 50-60 yards without much effort. He runs the RPO with precision. Reads multiple parts of the progression and spins the ball with accuracy. Also a basketball star.

<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="34414" first="Ben" last="Ireland"]</strong> - WR - 6’2 200 - Ben is a tall and athletic WR who has glue on his hands. Athletic enough to bend and make all the catches. He runs precise routes and has top end speed to blow by corners. Attacks the ball in the air and wins the 50-50 balls. Good RPO route runner and is always ready for the ball.

<strong>Terrison Ross</strong> - SS - 6’1 157 - Terrison has only scratched of his football ability. He is tall and athletic and it serves him well in taking on and escaping blocks. He has good technique and wiggle in his hips to backpedal and flip on deep routes. Very good tackler who gets downhill and all over WR’s. Look for him to take a huge jump his senior year.
