Canal Winchester, Worthington Kilbourne, Westerville South, Big Walnut, Delaware Hayes, Dublin Scioto, Franklin Heights, and Westerville South make up the teams in the Ohio Capital Conference Capital Division. There are some talented linemen in the division but the number of returning skilled athletes is exceptional for the upcoming fall. Stephen Byrd 6’1” 205 RB Canal Winchester Byrd is one of the elite running backs in the state who possesses both quickness and power. He is a tough man to bring down due to his physicality and ability to make sharp cuts when clearing the line of scrimmage and into the openfield. [player_tooltip player_id="34379" first="Kaden" last="Saunders"] 5’10” 180 WR Westerville South The number one wide receiver in the state and one of the premier receivers in the Midwest, Saunders, a Penn State commit, already has D1 talent. He can play either outside or inside receiver and has exceptional ball skills and the speed to make a big play any time he gets his hands on the football. [player_tooltip player_id="117382" first="Tyler" last="O’Reilly"] 6’2” 265 OL Westerville South O’Reilly’s strongpoint as an offensive lineman is his ability to get movement at the point of attack. He plays with exceptional leverage and drives his feet on contact to sustain and finish blocks. He is also a very solid pass protector. [player_tooltip player_id="34483" first="Brandon" last="Armstrong"] 5’7” 165 RB Westerville South Armstrong is a slashing running back that is very elusive once he gets into the clear. Shifty in the hips, Armstrong can make defenders miss in space and has shown the ability to split defenders to make extra yards. Javi’er Wills 6’0” 178 WR Westerville South Another talented Westerville South wide receiver, Wills is technically gifted at beating press coverage with his release skills. He runs excellent sideline and vertical routes and is a solid stalk blocker against defensive backs. He proves he can highpoint the football both as a receiver and a safety. [player_tooltip player_id="117439" first="Lesley" last="Andoh"] 6’1” 170 WR Dublin Scioto Andoh is a versatile offensive skilled athlete that can play wildcat quarterback as well as receiver. He can turn a jet sweep into a big play due to his running abilities and second gear. Andoh also has the speed to be a dangerous returner to the opposition. [player_tooltip player_id="117445" first="Max" last="Martin-Lee"] 6’3” 300 OL Dublin Scioto This guy is a massive road grader that uses his hands to control the defender and moves him off the line of scrimmage with authority. Despite his size, he has the foot quickness to work his way to the second level and show the same tenacity blocking linebackers. [player_tooltip player_id="91533" first="Amare" last="Jenkins"] 6’3” 180 QB Dublin Scioto Jenkins stands tall in the pocket and delivers the football on a rope in the heat of a heavy rush. He has a quick release along with an impressive touch on the long ball. Jenkins can make extra yards and keep drives alive with his feet. Tysen Boze 6’4” 190 WR Dublin Scioto Tysen Boze has all the receiver skills college coaches are looking for in a wideout. He consistently makes acrobatic one hand receptions. Boze would play tight end in a lot of high school programs because of his size and toughness as a blocker. [player_tooltip player_id="117446" first="Jason" last="Miller"] 6”3” 265 OL/DL Worthington Kilbourne Miller doubles as an offensive and defensive lineman. His quickness off the ball is a huge asset whether blocking on offense or making a charge off the line on defense. His versatility and athleticism make him one of the best all-around linemen in the conference. [player_tooltip player_id="117448" first="Chris" last="Campbell"] 5’6” 150 RB Westerville North A true cornerback, Campbell is a physical football player in spite of his size. He isn’t afraid to give his body up to make a tackle against much bigger running backs and receivers. He can play both man and zone coverage proficiently and displays a quick break on the ball once in the air.
