We move on to the incoming juniors for the Class of 2023. Check out what we got brewing in the Dakotas in our January 2021 update here at Prep Redzone Dakotas!
What Goes Into Our Rankings?
With our rankings across the Dakotas, we poll from a significant amount of college coaches, regional scouts, and more to give you the most in-depth player rankings you will see across the land of high school football. Our list has gone from just under 40 prospects in the 2023 class in October to 90 names for college coaches to choose from when recruiting starts to pick up for these upcoming juniors. We know that there is no perfect system for ranking players. Still, We know we do our absolute best to give our subscribers and college coaches as many names as possible to help them recruit the Dakotas and fill the void of year-round football coverage for high school football fans throughout the Dakotas.
Our prospect rankings are for subscribers only! Now is a great time to subscribe! You'll get year-round content from prospects in North and South Dakota. We even have a promo code for you to give us a shot! Throw in the code Wahl30 at checkout, and get 30% off any subscription (yearly or monthly) for the first year.

We Got Some Little Brothers In the MIx
One thing I've picked up on in my years of scouting the Midwest is if you find a senior prospect you like watching, check and see if he has a little brother. This Class of 2023 is loaded with notable little brothers to players from our 2021 rankings. These are the five little brothers you might recognize:

Program on the Rise in 9-Man
A program I see from our rankings on the rise from the Class of 2023 is a tail of two states. Elkton-Lake Benton has two promising prospects that my colleague Jake Evans saw in person last year that left a lasting impression with us at Prep Redzone Dakotas. Two players to watch from the Elks' 2023 class are Quarterback Ryan KrogRyanKrog
QB Elkton-Lake Benton | 2023State
and Defensive Linemen Caden MillerCadenMiller
6'3" | 300 lbs | DB Elkton-Lake Benton | 2023MN
. See Krogs film here.
We hope you enjoy our Class of 2023 rankings, and most importantly, the content you see on the site, whether you are a super fan of high school football in the Dakotas, a college coach who recruits the area, or the mom or dad that wants to read something cool about their son!
