Jack Bill, Delaware Valley: Bill completed about 66 percent of his throws and threw for 1,027 yards and 12 touchdowns to just three interceptions in seven games of action. He showcased his ability to run, as he finished with 516 rushing yards on 58 carries, with four touchdowns. He ran for 100-plus yards twice. As the team’s kicker, Bill also connected on 4 of 5 field goals, the longest from 34 yards out. Bill displayed great leadership in leading the Terriers to a 6-1 record.
Luke Kurzum, Caldwell: Kurzum completed about 63 percent of his throws and passed for 1,027 yards and 12 touchdowns to just three interceptions. He ran in four touchdowns for Caldwell in the team’s 6-3 season. Kurzum ended the season strong, completing 70 percent of his throws and throwing six touchdowns to zero interceptions in the last three games of the year.
Jakhi Coates, Salem: Coates had a 65 percent completion percentage and threw for 1,005 yards and 11 touchdowns to just two interceptions. He ran in another five TDs for Salem.
Gavin Bunt, Audubon: Bunt carried for 757 yards and nine touchdowns on 119 carries. He rushed for 100-plus yards in three games. Bunt also got involved in the receiving game with six receptions for 121 yards and a score. Defensively, he had two interceptions.
Riley McCann, Watchung Hills: McCann made an impact for Watchung Hills on the defensive end with 28 tackles, a fumble recovery and three interceptions. He had nine tackles against Phillipsburg and finished with picks against Union, Hunterdon Central and North Hunterdon.
Roodario Destin, Irvington: Destin recorded five interceptions for Irvington this season. He had two against Randolph and one each against Bayonne, Montclair and Clifton.
