#1. Ladarrius McNeill, 6’1” 170 – Scotland Co. HS. Displays great lateral movement with an instinct to follow the ball. He is a very physical player who makes punishing tackles. He is expected to continue to improve for the upcoming season. A D2 prospect and the offers should start to come in for him.
#2. Riley Whittenberg, 6’1” 230 – Panther Creek HS. Displays good lateral movement with an instinct to follow the ball. He runs well while closing in on the play, making several tackles for losses. There are high expectations as he prepares for the upcoming season. A D1 prospect and offers should start to come in for him.
#3. Carmelo Merritt, 5’11” 195 – Enloe HS. He uses his hands well to fight through blocks to make the tackle. He reads the plays well and plays with a lot of energy. He should continue to improve as he prepares for the upcoming season. He is a D2 prospect and the offers should start to come in for him.
#4. Tyrell Boykin, 5’8” 175 – Fike HS. He runs well from sideline to sideline to make the tackle. He gives maximum effort on every play. He should continue to improve as he prepares for the upcoming season. A D3 prospect and the offers should start to come in for him.
#5. Dashaun McSwain, 5’8” 170 – East Chapel Hill HS. Displays good lateral movement when closing in to make the tackle. Displays good use of hands to shed off the blockers.
