’28 Nate Dollard Nate Dollard 5'8" | 135 lbs | DB NC
The 5’10 145 2028 DB made the trip down from the Charlotte, NC area and put on a show. He was my overall MVP at the position and was named to the Coaches Top 3. He caught my eye in the Indy portion of the event. Displayed great footwork, smooth back pedal and just showed overall above average agility. During the 1v1 he showed great anticipation with good ball tracking skills. Had the length and athleticism that when he was beat he recovered well and was able to disrupt the receiver. Big upside for the NC product.
’28 Kayden “KT” Blackwell
The 5’7 150 DB out of Cartersville is a natural at the position. Good footwork, has natural quickness and is able to adjust his body to the receiver. Physical kid. Was an UA All Star Selection earlier this Spring and was a named a Top 3 DB at this camp by the coaching staff. He runs track in the offseason and just recently won the 400m at his Region Championship. Plays in a great program at Cartersville and will be one to watch develop over the next 4 years.
’28 Kendall Covin Kendall Covin 5'7" | 150 lbs | ATH Colquitt County | 2028 GA
The 5’6 135 DB from Colquitt County caught my eye during the metric portion of the testing. He is lean with long arms. Had one of the longest broad jumps of the day at 9’4. Agile, smooth athlete that still is a little raw with his footwork but uses his natural instincts well. Did a good job in the 1v1 recovering when he was beat to disrupt the pass with his reach. Seemed to be very coachable off the field and with 4 years at Colquitt Co this guy will be ready. One to watch.
’28 Carlos “Duece” Barneman
The 5’9 130 future Kell Longhorn was polished with his footwork. Good build at this age with a solid base. Quick and adjusts well. Physical at the line of scrimmage. The B2C All-American alumni projects as a safety at the high school level. With his build and athleticism I could see him excelling at several roles on both sides of the ball depending on how his physical development progresses.
’28 Zaydrean Jackson Zaydrean Jackson 5'6" | 125 lbs | DB Chapel Hill Middle | 2028 GA
The 5’6 130 prospect out of Chapel Hill Middle school in Douglasville is a natural at the position. One of the smaller of the DBs but had no problem covering taller WRs with his positioning and his “ups”, out jumped taller guys on several occasions during the 1v1 competition. He recently received some recognition from the Georgia Future Stars team. Jackson is a name that has emerged this Spring as a name to watch.
