Oregon has landed a few commitments from Oklahoma prospects in the past but in the long run it hasn’t worked out. The last commitment they had was from Broken Arrow 2020 DB Myles Slusher, who was committed to Oregon until he signed with Arkansas on signing day. Before that, they landed former Del City quarterback Terry Wilson, who signed with the Ducks, but ultimately transferred out of the program and is now starting at Kentucky.
Dollar has a long way to go before Signing Day arrives for him. And the recruitment of Dollar will now slow down. He has offers from major programs all over the country and when it’s all said and done, he’ll have the ability to play just about wherever he wants. He is the first 2022 prospect in Oklahoma to announce a commitment. The first opportunity to sign with the Ducks is 15 months away in December of 2021.
