City Rankings: Raleigh – Durham Area 2021 QB’s (1-7)

There are several talented quarterbacks who compiled impressive stats during the 2019 season.  They are preparing to lead the offense for their senior season.  This is part one of the best quarterbacks in the area. &nbsp; <strong>#1.  Landin Sledge, 6’0” 180</strong> – <strong>Durham Riverside HS</strong>.  Landin finished the 2019 season in the no. 2 spot in NC in passing yards for the 4A classification.  He is preparing for another stellar season in his high school career. &nbsp; <strong>#2.  Jaxon Masterson, 5’11” 155</strong> – <strong>Sanderson HS</strong>.  Jaxon is a good passer who makes accurate throws.  Jaxon brings excitement to the offensive unit. &nbsp; <strong>#3.  Evan Ashworth, 6’6” 198</strong> – <strong>Green Hope HS</strong>.  Evan throws the long ball well and appears comfortable in the pocket.  He finds the open receiver and delivers an accurate pass. &nbsp; <strong>#4.  Matt Cozart, 6’3” 210</strong> – <strong>Corinth Holders HS</strong>.  Matt sets up in the pocket and scans the field for an open target.  He possesses a quick release which prevents him from being sacked. &nbsp; <strong>#5.  Terron Simpson, 6’1” 175</strong> – <strong>Knightdale HS</strong>.  Terron is a good passer and runs well.  He is not shy about running to move the ball downfield. &nbsp; <strong>#6.  Ridge Clayton, 6’4” 201</strong> – <strong>Person HS</strong>.  Ridge can quickly find an open receiver.  He has a quick release which enables him to avoid tacklers. &nbsp; <strong>#7.  Omari Smith, 6’2” 182</strong> – <strong>Southern Durham HS</strong>.  Omari is a solid passer who is not shy about running the ball to avoid a sack. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;
